Hey everyone...I have been an avid NS viewer for over a decade now. I never posted until today, just creeped the video section and of course kept a eye on the forums for new T-Heed rumors. I was recently lucky enough to relocate from the northeast to Montana. As I prepare for my first proper ski season in 5 years I am trying to pay the bills and spread one of my passions to those who previously were unable to afford it (abstract art).

I started a Kickstarter called "The Big Paint" and am almost 75% funded in the first week. If you like the artwork, the rewards for funding the project are original 1/1 paintings. If you don't like the artwork, maybe someone you know does and I would much appreciate it if you forwarded the link along to them.

Some Jackson Pollock-esque paintings going on there, I dig it man! I love seeing art anywhere, its especially nice to see some on NS. Best of luck.

First post asking for money, and a kickstarter to pay your bills? Does anybody actually use that site for normal fundraising efforts?
 
i really dig that first one man, nice stuff. we have an artwork thread over in the media/arts forum if you ever wanna post up some stuff. keep it up!
 
also will most likely be purchasing a $25 print in the coming weeks, moving into a new place September 15th and want some pieces to put up and your stuff is definitely what i like

rockersteeze - i know it looks bad to post this as my first thread but i hadnt ever before so i didnt have much choice.

Travis is the OG , he is from the town i grew up in and i had the pleasure of filming him a bit way back in the day. I actually should try and dig up those tapes if they still exist and put together a throwback edit
 
The kickstarter funds are used for supplies etc and hopefully the project becomes profitable. This will do two things, 1. provide me some profit to yes, pay my bills with and 2. provide the masses with the ability to own original (non-reprinted) artwork which has previously been priced obscenely for ostentatious collectors.

All this is written on the link...of course you cannot use the kickstarter funds for paying bills directly.
