the eastcoast is going get dumped with snow..for an example RIGHT NOW!!! but besides that the eastcoast well be a better place to ski this year no doubt. were gonna get more snow then last year and we got more then the west coast so everyone on the eastcoast watch out were going to get dumped so everyone bring your skis home becuase its urban skiing!!!

1 foot of snow outside for me and still falling and I'm so pissed off that my arents forced me to stay home this weekend because VT is supposedly getting 1.5 to 2 feet

ye, whistler just got 2 feet over the last 2 days. quite sick, and with the most vert open in North America.

yeah east coast is goin to be the place to be this year and yeah west might have more vert and snow but hell east coast knows how to put it all together and throw the best times

Ha,

3.5 ft in Alaska & going up. Hatchers is absolutely epic powder right now. We definitely have more than enough vert to compete w/ little Whistler and anywhere else for that matter(backcountry is way better up here too;^) Anyway, hope the snow is coming down on the east coast good, cause I'm flying down there over X-mas w/ the skis. I'll mainly be whitewater kayaking, but I'd like to head up to Sugar Mtn or some other places in NC/WV/VA/TN.

I am here in bridgeport CT, and i have never seen anything like this in my life.. we already have like a foot, and this city does not plow.. it took me 3 hours to get like 5 miles down the road.. i love it

CJ i dont think anyone is really paying attention to what you said. We're all just staring at your icon. Whistler has vert...we have snow. Whats vert without snow unless you have a bike? Nothing. Ride On.

dudes, settle down, the east and the west both have their plusses and minusses. They both are good in their own way. I believe that the east coast parks kick the wests asses. I also believe that the west has the nastiest snowfall and vert. everyone just quit bitching about whwere you live, just ski to ski.

no actually i belive the west has better everything, but the important thing is we are getting some good snowfall right now. 20 inches where i am so far

 
Anyone have any idea about airports, when the snow is supposed to stop, etc. Is it worth going (or even possible to) to NYC or what?

lol, we are getting all this snow... but i know of few places steep enough to make 18' good skiing... you have to straight line half the run to make a turn

my fuckin ride backed out so with my ski stuff up north, and over a foot of snow outside i wanna kill myself right now, i heard some unopened stuff at my mtn was waist deep, but at least there finally gettin some

because of the snow i managed to drive my car up onto a rock, but i got it off with out my parents knowing, which is good cause i would have been killed
