Being from the east side I can say this: You better not be a little wuss if your gonna ski east... most of the landings at my local mountain are solid ice. Our pipes are crap and the snowboarders make all the jumps so they suck too. Notice how I said My LOCAL mountain... not YOUR local mountain.
East skiers are more aggressive and prone to injury as the east cost has harder/icy slopes. Therefore, to pull a trick, u have to be prepared and focused. West skiers are more blessed as they have the comfortness of powder!!! yes, snow powder. I'm not saying that west skiers are not better; I'm just implying that if there was a contest between East and West, I'd see more east coast dudes pulling off sicker tricks than the west coast people.
this has nothing to with east vs west but i would realy like to see somone take off their ski in the air and then put it back on again hahaha that would be some mad shit...btw i think only west coast skiers could do this because of the pacific ocean and the way it forces us to do better because the algi in the water rises into the air then into our lungs and gives us the super duper power we need to succeed at all we do (ecpt spell) if anyone hasent caught on yet i am getting to the point that i am a ramlbing idiot and i dont realy give a fuck who is better as long as we all ski
WEST COAST FUKIN RULES YOU FRENCH SPEAKING EAST COAST PUSSYS hahahah
i would hereby like to say sorry to all the eastcoast rippers out there...to bad i would only like to say sorry and im not actualy going to hahahahhahaha
that was cool. sometimes i click off one ski in the air, sometimes we take off in screamin seamans too but thats about it. oh yeah we land in 'em sometimse too, out east that is. don click off and put on again though.
4 balls man all that polution out on the east must be fucking up your moms so that you get 4 balls...wait lets figure this out, i=one set from daddy, another from mom...hahaha
Over 500 inches this year and more on the way.
My first day this year was Oct 16 my last day will be July 4th.
Over 300 sunny days a year in town.
My pass was only $400.
When the mountain is crowded, there is plenty of terrain to hike.
I'm pretty content with my mountain..... I like skiing other places as well, but always come back to Mammoth.
It isn't really east vs west, its what your mountain has to offer that you love about it. People move out east or out west for different reasons, depends what youre in to.
how could the op say east has more hardcore skiers if ur a hardcore skier in the east your life ambition is to move out west and ski some real mountains
