East Vail - Need people for Backcountry

So this is my third winter in Vail, and I did East Vail last year a few times, but almost every time I was able to go last year, my friends had either just taken off to go to East Vail or couldn't go. Now this year, my friends hours are more inconsistent and half of them work now during the day.

Im looking for a few people that want to ride East Vail sometime, but Im not looking for just anyone, I need people with backcountry experience and all the gear (Beacon, probe, shovel, Avalung/Float Bag) and you need to know how to use all the gear too.

Also, kinda looking for some daredevils, people that aren't afraid of cliffs below 20 ft and can stomp them, not really people that have never really hit a cliff before or don't have a clue on what there doing when it comes to hucking cliffs.

Lets meet up on Vail and take some turns In Bounds and see what we can do. =)

RIP Tony Seibert. Don't go to East Vail unless you know EXACTLY what you are doing and then some.

I would not go out there for a little while, the wind has only made the already sketch conditions worse. I'm sure low angled stuff is fine but in east vail that's not really what's fun... haha

I'd be down once things mellow out a bit, and we got sun for a little while coming up so it should. shoot me a PM if you're looking for someone in the near future...

first year in co, just moved from WA. Are you talking about touring through east vail? I hear thats not cool till spring.

My buddy and i found some cool lines near vail pass though that would be pretty mellow tours if you're interested. We've also been reading through a couple guide books for the area.

If you've got an at set up hit me up. the more the merrier.
