East or west skiers

Not one of those people under EAST is from the east.

Wallisch is clearly sent from heaven as skiings savior.

Stepp is straight out of Compton without a shred of doubt.

And the traveling circus.... it says it in the very name they are not from a specific location.

You have to look at what's available. The East is producing many more good skiers than it should be.

We need to perform an analysis here to get an answer.

I have a feeling that there's probably a ton of park-centric pros from the east, and then a ton of more big-mountain-centric pros from the west.

east all the way stomping shit on boiler plate ice and sketchy ass features makes us look real good in the well built parks out west

I've thought about this and both seem to be equal. And I could be wrong but is seems like more skiers with smooth and mellow styles come out of the west and skiers with more aggressive and intense styles come from the east.

in east people just ski park because, thats all they got.

in the west alot more time is spent out of the park skiing pow and terrain and shit.

to me

west= better all around skiers

east= wores all around skiers slightly better at park

agreed. west is usually more flowy where the east is more huck and tuck, this is all due to the conditions were given.

I would say midwest is more closely related to the east with more aggressive styled and less well rounded skiers. As for Phil his style is not really his actual natural style so idk.

I'm from the east and I hardly ever ski park. Definitely not "all they got" if you have any idea what you're doing

Hands down east coast.

"We've skied the worst so the best comes easy" -Tom Wallisch, on growing up on the east coast

Lately I've been skiing with both, and I've come to the conclusion that West Coast skiers are better at jumping and east coast skiers are better at rails.

East coast rider's do so much with so little on the east coast so when brought to the west they become 1000x better!

East

That being said, everyone is voting for where they are from. So this is basically a where are you from thread and since there are much more people from the east than the west, the east will win.

No sir. All around, east skiers easily develop better control and reaction and therefore can shred all around even if we haven't really skied pow before. And we do have pow days on the east coast, and our trees are some of the most gnarly in the us, but the snow is just terrible 90%. I challenge any western skier to ski patchy, icy as fuck, trees which Ive done my entire life. And I aint even complain

yeah gotta say this. if you've been skiing trees your whole life on the east coast and can shred the more intense stuff, you're going to be a gnarly fucking skier

The East produces better skiers, but once we get good enough on the East we all move West because the mtns are better. Also, as far as US Teams and FIS and stuff go, its a shame that there is not a place on the EC for them
