East getting rain tomarrow?

heard the east was getting rain tomarrow, which means awesome season over.

but today on my last run at 4 it started getting colder and snowing a little. Any feelings on the upcoming storm?
 
It rained all day here, in Sudbury, Ontario. It was our opening day too. Supposed to get another 20-30mm of rain tomorrow, then its going to start snowing monday and the temperatures are going to drop again.
 
Yeah it's supposed to rain all day here in Rochester, NY. Some brown spots starting to poke out at my mountain. It's all good though, def. not the "end" of the great early winter that the East has been having. A LOT better than last year at this time.
 
its gonna be kinda close. it could go either way. if it does snow we wont get much and it wil be all wet.i looked online and the weather ppl said rain during the night. which i find wierd seeing its supposed to be cold on monday
 
since you are from the east, i assume you meant the east coast, USA, and since you are from the good 'ol US of A, i assume you meant

where it rains, its gonna rain hard, but i think northern VT. NH and ME wont get too much rain
 
Only if its in another season.... Namely, summer.

Damn, I just hit the first jumps of my season today.. And I was getting so pumped. Well, the weatherman has been wrong before...
 
well its really going to rain but its supposed to snow and get cold right after, i have a feeling were just gunna be greeted monday morning with a blanket of ice over everything
 
Whatever, cant expect perfection for ever, at least there will be a hard base over all the rocks and stuff in the woods, and hopefully we'll get some fluff to pile on top of it within a week or so.

Still stinks though, first day off work, was gonna build a little booter somewere.
 
as far as melting snow goes i would be more worried about the 60-70 mph winds. We are going to get some rain but hopefully the damage is minimal.

well it hasn't started raining yet, and it's still not warm. so im gonna go chop down some trees and build a logride on a hill in my friends neighborhood
 
There was a steady light rain and high winds in southern NY. Didn't take away too much, but enough. Boo.
 
^haha wow is there seriously any flooding going on there? cause penfield is on the edge of a flood, it must of rained like 3 inches today haha
 
i dont think the rain should hurt too much cus its only a little, not enough to take too much snow away and it will freeze overnight making a good base for snow to build over. today i was at stratton and on the lift i had a puddle on my snow pants

also i dont mind skiing in the rain and it drove the crowds away
 
It rained in B-lo pretty hard core for the past 2 days, melted a good 6 inches of snow, but we just got an inch back tonight... maybe a white Christmas?
 
Welcome back to ICE COAST everyone. It was a nice long december in vermont of straight pow. It was nice to be able to hold edge with no edges on my park whips. Well lucky a have pair of ski with sharp edges for frozen awsome granular. This ice gonna fuck with condition for a while. Hopefully we get some snow
