east coast winter

I didn't think last winter was too bad in the east, at least in terms of snow on the mountains (Snowmaking had a lot to do with it)...

It was definetely cold as hell though. This winter will probably be a little milder and snowier though, at least according to all the local farmers, shrug

yea cannon is def the coldest place around, i have to wear so much every weekend i feel liek the fuckin michilen man. we just didnt get a whole lot of snow, and the snowmaking at cannon broke cuz it was so friggen cold. once at the top it was so windy my cousin gor blown up hill, and hes kinda fat

its been raining a ton this summer so I'm hopin there will be a ton of moisture in the air this winter too, cuz this year was mad cold, i even had to miss a day of shcool cuz the heaters broke, and it was supposed to be like -50, but it was all bull, it went to like -10

^ haha we had a cold day too. cept it was only 10 degrees out, it was because the buses couldnt start. but the funny thing is that just a week ago it was below 20 wind chill factor and still went to school.

I'm from the school of this is the east coast, and what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. skiing 120+ days in minus 20 degree temps, hardly any snow and a fair share of wind and clouds was awesome this past year! I don't think I could have had a better season. and my hill is 625 feet high. The way I see it, when it is time for me to relocate westward like all east coast skiiers and riders must do (a manifest destany if you will) I'll have a great appriciation for the warm weather, soft snow and chicks that arent hardend by the cold, or turned away from it so much so that they hibernate till spring. Ah yes, the east coast. I love it here.

 
it wasnt bad this year, not tooooo bad, a little slow, but it was good in the end

haha u dont know cold boys and girls. i was up at tucks on the coldest day of the year, it was a friday and it was -18 on the trail and then in the bowl 85+mph gusts making it around -55 haha good times had by all

I've ben on iceface on on of their -120F days...

It was actually -130F (with wind-chill) and they one had the one little lift at the bottom open. That was so fucking cold that if you didn't wear goggles your eyes froze shut when you blinked and your breath froze and fell as snow. That's fucking cold!

speaking of east coast winter. . . I;m up at 4am waiting for my boss to get his sorry ass up so we can drain the pond and clean out the snow making system... i wish it were cold enough cause it sure would be cool to be makin some mounds right now . . . maybe i;ll just head to the john and make a mound there. . . yea, later

 
VT has been cold most of the summer. i hope thats a sign of a good winter to come. VT always has its good and bad yrs, it doesnt always suck like and its not continuingly getting worse. it switches off like most places. hopefully, this yr will be good.
