last year was the worst i'd ever seen, it was the 1st year that the place where i ski made snow and it's a good thing they did because we never would've opened. (i live in northern maine by the way) We're making snow again this year but that shit sucks to ski on, now i was wondering, was that just an odd winter or do you think they'll al become shitty like that? did that gay heat wave have something to do with it, and will they just keep getting worse?

it's been a cool/rainy summer for me, i'm back and forth between pennsylvania and albany area.

so i'm thinkin (hopin) that it'll be cold and we'll have a lot of precipiation this winter, aka, tons of snow.

yeah man, ever since i moved to New Hampshire, each year it switches.. first year: never seen so much snow in my life.. 2nd year: i cried it was so bad.. 3rd year: POWDER DAY BITCH.. This year: kill me now.. so this coming winter should be dope

it hurt last year how it was too cold. I got talked in to skipping class for mt snow one wednesday and it was like negative 20 somethin at the top of carinthia. fuck that.

i think the rails were superconductive.

last winter in upstate new york was like hell, only if hell were cold.

thast why stratton is awsome, they have so much money they dont kno what to do w/ it, so they just blow snow on the park and have it open like the 2nd or 3rd week

about 8 years ago we had so much snow i didnt know what to do with myself, now we're lucky if we dont see the grass inbetween snow storms.

See usually we always make snow, but mid winter we got like 4 feet it was awesome(northern michigan)

Same here. It doesn't really matter how much snow we get though, as long as you hunt down the powder days. A few of those and the season is all good. Areas around here are pros at blowing snow anyways because they rarely get snow, so there is always a park. Hopefully they will open up the parks around here early though.

yeah even if bristol just set up one rail at the base of rocket or at the flat between upper and lower rocket then it would make the begining part of the season alot better than it usually is

yeah ny had a good snow fall year but it was so damn cold. it got warm a couple of times which sucked but it was still so damn cold.

It goes back and forth. I mean, last year was pretty beat, but think back to that winter what, the year before? 2 years before? It was awesome. It comes and goes. I don't think there will be any MAJOR trends to the point where you notice it for a bunch of years in a row.

Well actualy in NB and NS it wasnt all that bad. We got a little of every thing, alot of rain, alot of snow and alot of cold. NS is usualy very rainy and stuff so hopefully this season we get dumped big time

well we got some snow in march, but then we got id say 4 inches of rain, and that coulda been liek 4 feet of snow, so thats pretty cool to think about, but kinda not

its been a super wet summer so hopefully it'll be a super snowy winter. hopefully. last winter was horrible. going out everyday and it being freezing but no snow whatsoever

last year in central NY was awesome, 3 dumps over 1 foot and for 3 weeks it didn't go above 20 degrees.

cannon is fuckin nuts with the coldness. we had a meet there and the tip of my nose is fuckin messed forever, not color changed but when you press on it, feels like theres nuthin underneath it. this was dressed to the max too.

it was alright. In febuary we got a storm, but I was away in utah so I missed some snow then. it was a cold winter though. we'd be riding the lift up like, oh it's really not that bad, when it was like -5. but skiing is skiing, and I'm not complaining. hopefully this winter will be a good one!

bristol is fuckin cold and the park is in a wind tunnel where its constantly windy.....it didnt get above freezing for 40 days and it was below 0 for 15 days. windchill in the park prolly got down to -50 to -60 cause it was -20 one day with like 40 mph winds

im in upstate NY winter is not a ton of snow and fucking cold, summer is ususally steamy but this year has been cooler, but farmers almanac says prepare for a WINTER
