What's the amount of time you're willing to drive? What day or days are you thinking of going (weather is variable)? Is this a day trip or weekend or longer?

Between the two you listed, if you're going for park primarily, then 7 springs. If you want overall skiing, go to snowshoe without a doubt. Holiday valley is also another option that's within the same driving range as those other two. If I had to choose right now, I'd pick holiday valley actually because pretty much everything is open but a few glades and more snow on the way.

If you're really into driving like me, places in Vermont are 10-12hrs away from Columbus. As well as Gore Mt and Whiteface are 9-10hrs.

I'd like to keep it around 6ish hours from Cbus I'm looking at making it like an extended weekend trip

7 Springs

For park go to 7 springs. For more all mountain go to holiday valley. Holiday valleys park this year is better than past years, but no jumps yet. There’s also peek n peak, smaller and no park yet

I'd prob still pick holiday valley. Snowshoe is in the middle of BFE so you'd have to book a room at the resort and you're limited to after skiing activities. Also their weather is variable and rain on the 10 day forecast. Holiday valley is all snow in the forecast and you can book a hotel and go out for food and drinks in Buffalo which is not too far from there. HV also has night skiing if you're into that. Neither is a bad choice but I'd pick HV at the current moment.

7 springs is a fucking ripoff for day tickets and especially weekend tickets considering their terrain variety.
