What do you think. Forecast's call for a potential combination of tropical storm Sandy (currently a hurricane) and an arctic blast creating a intense environment of strong winds (70+) heavy rain and potential snow in the mountains, "measured in feet" as this article states.

I live in boone, NC and we are supposed to see some snow along with high winds and highs in the low 30s and lows in the low 20s!! so stoked!! haha

Also it will most likely NOT be a huge nor'easter snow dump extravaganza like most of you think. It has potential to be a very severe damaging storm for the coast and inland, bringing lots of rain/flooding. Not that cool!

alright alright, just saw the two threads my bad. It is possible the the mountainous areas of the northeast could get snow, we don't know and some forecasts are calling for it. If we do get a "few feet of snow" like mentioned that could be enough to open some die hard resorts, at least for a few days till it melts. Killy could be in position to get that and we know they would.
