East coast storm on its way

i have high hopes it returns to how it was a couple of years back when it would always dump in february-march

and it looks like you guys are getting snow too, idk how much though. i know the storms a noreaster so it'ls going to be heaviest on the east coast of the US

The image is a screencap of the video which goes much further into detail about the potential. Whether or not YOU screencapped it is immaterial. The truth is the image is aimed at getting people to click it. (oh hai, The Weather Channel is a business and sells ads based on click-thrus, it is in their best interest to generate views through motivating screencaps that play to emotions.)

And I am not being a debbie downer, I am just being realistic that trying to peg snowfall totals for locations on a system that is beyond 48 hours out is setting people up for disappointment when the prime snowfall zone shifts.

It is entirely possible for Southern VT to grab 6-12"+. It is also entirely possible for the low to track further off-shore and all Southern VT gets is a rather insignificant dust on crust scenario.

ahhh i understand, that post made it seem like you were calling the act of me screenshotting it pointless and futile lol, and believe me i think most of us in the east are fairly aware not to get our hopes up on a storm like this or any for that matter because of how many times we've seen them track away and leave us with nothing or drop ice on us. it's just a waiting game at this point but i'm stayng hopeful

i'm jealous, i wish i could make it up there, won free tickets to Mt. Snow on the radio though so i'm using one there Saturday

chill the fuck out man. i'd rather not have my hopes up and get a pounding than have really high expectations and get an inch.

easy there compadre no need to get your panties in a bunch i'm as chill as can be just trying to spread the stoke, i think you need to relax a little bit there maybe sit the next few plays out. with the way our winters going an inch is going to be something to be happy about so i still wouldn't complain

US Model.. and we'll probably get that rain to the south seeing as the temps are to be in the 30s.

It's actually snowing in delaware right now. I'm thinking it's gonna be a ton of rain in jersey and creek is gonna get rained on, as usual.

the new models are coming in and i think i heard the weather people

saying there all agreeing on the euro models forecast

i think....

also dont trust the stupid Weather Chanel

read the single chair weather blog

best weather for mid/northern Vermont

Just started snowing in CT. Probably will get 5 inches then itll rain for 4 days straight as usual.

yeah snowing here in CT

is this the early part of this projected storm or a separate storm completely?

i heard it's supposed to snow from around now all the way through till thursday.... then we would be getting hit with another storm on friday?!?! that'd be dope.

i go to Loomis in Windsor so me and my friends have some rails set up just off campus on a local little hill thing

but i make it out to sundown sometimes as well as mt snow

I get that you're being realistic and that it could very well miss us entirely, but i think at this point everyone really needs a glimse of hope.

Kind of like playing the lottery. You know you're basically not gonna win, but the anticipation of "what if" (12+ inches) is enough for most people here to blow their load, me included. Face it, for New England, generally speaking, we only get those storms a handulf of times per season.
