East coast storm on its way

Guy's I just wanted to say you're welcome now.

Ever since i bought my bus tickets to leave VT and visit my girlfriend since there wasn't anything on the horizon the snow predictions have just been skyrocketing.

So again you're welcome.

i live in delaware right now but im taking a trip to Mont Tremblant for the weekend! HOLY SHIT I MIGHT GET TO SKI POW FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE AND IT MIGHT BE ALOT!!!11!11!
 
I really dont want to get too excited about this, last storm they predicted 6-12 overnight and I woke up to blue skies and absolutely no new snow.
 
those were very isolated snow squalls. This is a significant storm system with big potential
 
I've seen too many different scenarios for this storm I can't help but chuckle and just hope it snows somewhere a shit ton so I can get my ass there to rip it up.
 
Anyone ski Jay/norther VT lately? Descent amount of snow in dec before the thaw...haven't been up in a while.

Is there a base in the trees? Not trying to come up and ski trees if there is a ton of exposed trees/rocks....ya know not your typical feb conditions

I was in NVT (both Smuggs and bc Jay)at the end of Jan, still plenty in the woods to play around with. They lost a bit during the thaw, but also rec'vd a bunch of snow in the last week. So I imagine there is plenty up north -- I'll get some info from a friend in Cambridge and let ya know what he says.
 
my friend works at smuggs, they're in decent shape like you said you can play around in the woods but they're still slacking, this storm should put them in a really nice spot though
 
If you get a powday, take the time to get to the edge. So worth it. Don't get side tracked skiing pow on the south side. GO TO THE EDGE

well the 30'' projected in CT makes sense as that's what basically all of the news channels here are reporting

Do East Coasters always make this big of a deal out of a snowstorm? It has been quite some time since I was on that side of the country, but damn, it snow, followed by rain 2 days after. Not that big of a deal. It is winter after all...

Daaaaaaamn, if this was the case I'd just stay here in the Cats. Hoping tmrw gives some more accurate predictions cause I've seen too many differing pics. Damn!
 
every fucking weather man has a different opinion. And every weather channel has a different chart about the snow. We are just gunna have to wait for the storm to see how much we get
