East coast ski trip help!

So every year on march break my family goes skiing somewhere bigger then my home mountain (Blue mountain Ontario). I really wanted to go out west this year but it probably won't happen because of the economy and stuff. So we will likely be going to Quebec or Vermont. Last year we went to Mt St Anne and i liked it but would like to go somewhere different this year. My parents are considering going there again but are open to suggestions from me. I personally liked the skiing at Mt St Anne but this year i would like to go somewhere that has a better park, (actually has decent well built jumps) My parents would prefer Quebec because of the colder temps but i will take suggestions from places in Vermont as well.

Thanks for the help.....

stowe is sooo pricy so i would recommend sugarbush if you get some good snow (dope glades) or jay peak. thats for vermont. not too touristy and sick terrain

i've been to sugurbush really liked it except got rain most of the week i would like to go to stowe i've herd good things about it. How is stratton crowd wise? I know tremblant is to crowded for my families liking.

thanks for the help karma

stratton is crowd central...do NOT GO. stowe is the best SKIING in vermont. if your looking for park go down south. sugarbush and stowe have nice terrain.

My dad deals with farm equipment not alot of people want to buy in times like this also he has invested heavily in the stock market so he's lost alot in it........... Just not a time he wants to be spending on trips.

apparenty saint saveur (sp?) has a sick park and is never crowded becasue its a local moutnain but has godo elevation, check it out online...after going to killniton last year i think hands down is better than any quebec resort, i went to both treemblant and st annae and killnigton blows it outta the water, the parks are always so sick and the glades are sick aswell you always find untouched lines and its sweet, killington for sure

im actually at tremblant right now and the crowds really arent bad at all... mainly there the worst right before and directly after christmas. do not go to stratton, its miserable for lift lines and crowds. stowe is really sick you cant go wrong there, the crowds are never bad and its just a really nice mountain.

if you are looking at Quebec Tremblant is probably your best bet. Ive taken trips up there over christmas break the last two years and it is one of my favorite mounatins on the east coast. I havn't gone up yet this year because so far their conditions havn't been much better than my home mountain. Every time ive been up there the park has been sick with a dirty jump line and it also has some decent freeride terrain, but no promises for this year because i havn't been there yet. Even though it does tend to get crowded at lift lines, ive never really had a problem once on mountain because the mounatin is pretty big and spread out, plus the village is pretty cool.

For Vermont id say Jay Peak for freeride/powder and either stratton or mt.snow for park.
