East coast season rant

So st this point I can see most of the grass in my yard and we're still suppose to get 20+mm of rain and positive temperatures (Celsius), so I'm starting to think that this season will be over pretty soon and that makes me think that this was a shit season because my local hill had been running at like 35% most of the season and we only had like 10 park days, but I also progressed a lot this year so I feel like it was an ok season. And idk what the point of this thread is a guess it's just a rant about how I hate and like the east coast
 
i feel ya, i have 5 days of skiing in and there is now now snow to be seen around my house. and we got 8-10" this past week. All the snow melted Friday through today :(
 
Same story in ohio. Right after we got all those nice temps and all that snow the temps rocketed up to 60+ for several days. RIP snow
 
up here in montana its been raining for the last week and a half.. luckily on the mountain its been snowing, but in whitefish almost all of the snow is melted. There is still time tho keep believin
 
Well I have skied 16 days this year several of those consisted of 3 runs and one 1 run day because I blew my knee out. Between the weather and my injury this has officially been a season from hell.

yo im from pennsylvannia and it hasnt been the best season , but i haved 35 days already, trust me u can make the best out of shitty seasons
 
it's supposed to be high 30s this week in NY, but then more snow on friday. gonna get some spring laps in on the 3 feature park set up, and then hope for one more day of actual snow
 
Yo fuck this weather. I have 5-8 weeks left depending on how the weather goes. It still feels like early season to me cause of how late we started. Fucking bullshit

Ohio probably has 2 weeks left. Back to back seasons that started in january. I agree with dirty bubble that it feels like early season.
 
VT isn't that bad man. Yea it isn't great...but at least we have some runs open and some decent parks going around. I think well be able to go into end of march.

The rain this week is going to kill the shit out of what's left. With our luck, it'll be 5 degrees the next day and all freeze solid haha.

Yeaaaaa where are you seeing a foot of snow for southern VT? All we have on tap is rain...and a lot of it.

It must have been an error but on both NOAA and weather.com it showed snow Monday-Tuesday. It's gone now though lol
 
on the ny/ ma border at catamount we didnt have much snow to begin with and its been 50+ degrees since saturday, and it will continue to be until wednesday when it rains for 2 days straight. sick.
 
35 days this season and I don't think I'll hit 50, first time in 3 years... We're supposed to get more rain this week, fuck the east coast

If we're lucky haha, BMBW has basically no base after the 60's and sun this weekend and we're boutta get hit with an inch plus of rain Wednesday. It almost makes the snow we're supposed to get Thursday seem like an insult. "Yeah so your season's over but here's 2 inches to make you feel better." I wanna be positive but this winter is straight bull
 
Bitching about it won't change Mother Nature's mind. Make due with what you got and enjoy what we have of a winter while it lasts. Come Spring you'll be missing what you've been skiing these past few weeks, even though it may be sub-par.

we are in good shape compared to the base last year lol. They closed with a 5 inch base

this rain is gonna kill us. They may pull out the trick where if they get 500 shares on facebook they will make snow over the weekend because there isn't enough for big air currently

They'll NEVER turn on the guns this late in the season. When they pull that stunt they just turn them on for a picture and turn them right back off
