East coast season over?

Didn't parts of the east coast get 2+ feet last week?

So, nah

Yes, but its been 40s/50s for the past week and it is supposed to rain this weekend. I can't imagine there will be much snow left by next week.

Truth, good point

But Vail bought Stowe, so they will make it snow

I doubt it. This is just how it is over here. Cold, hot, cold, hot. I bet it'll get cold again and some more snow. This weather is definitely hitting places hard that dont have a good snow base though.

Its over in ohio. 60-70 degrees here for the past week and we have a severe thunderstorm warning out for tomorrow... i am actually done with mother nature. Got a solid 2 month season in after the 2 month el nino season last year.

It snowed every single day for a week a couple weeks ago, and for the last week it's been above 0 (I'm in ontario). There's no sign of that stopping. I want to kill myself.

Haha this made me chuckle. Its been int he 60s for the last 2 weeks, a snowstorm is just missing us right now, and it rained for the last 3 days. Our season is looking quite bleak compared to yours

We were off to a good start here at Seven springs, we opened thanksgiving weekend. It's been very warm since mid January. Pretty much over. Kinda sad because I thought we were gonna have a good, long, snowy season to make up for last year. I'm a firm believer in global warming.

Same weather I don't even know what to think anymore I'll try and ski the dunes maybe

its 830 and already in the 50s here in southern nh, i kept walking outside at work yesterday since it was bluebird and 70 all fucking day

doesnt help that its been raining at night lately

Perfect north in Indiana closed on tuesday... i am taking my last laps in ohio tomorrow unless we get a hike park going or something made out of our jumps.

looks like highs in the 40's to 50's for the rest of the season with some rain/ice in the next week or so. Its not quite over but its definitely winding down fast.

The mountain I work at usually has a decent crowd this weekend with people from the city coming up for their last weekend or kids from VT coming over for break but it was almost dead this afternoon in the main snowsports building

Jay Peak was full spring conditions today. I thought I saw the Nile running through under some moguls. More warm rain tonight.

Springs is on life support. Not a chance of lasting 2 more weeks.

Fuck I meant to make it up there before the season ended, and then it was over before I knew it

yesterday afternoon it was 60, river almost at floodstage, one snowbank left in my driveway... by 10pm we had about 1/8th of an inch of new snow

i am in central vt, heading to the mountain now, i will report back later

I gave up on the east coast and went to S. Lake Tahoe for a while. I recommend it, been skiing power the past week. Boreal was lit too.

The season is pretty much over for us in Wisconsin, was in the upper 60's last week, Alpine Valley is closed, but the weather is getting cooler. I was just starting to learn cork 7's

Lol at my home hill in Ct they just took out all the features to use the snow from there and spread it to other parts. 1.5 month season for me here but Vermont is supposed to get snow next week so that's good news

Yeah i retract my previous comment, shits melting really fast.

decided to book a flight to Snowbird for March 3-11. cant handle Onterrible weather

My home resort in Tahoe has well over 600" of snowfall so far... Not trying to brag but hopefully providing some insight on the crazy differences in weather and climate change across the country. We've had shit the past four years until now.

I'll be in Tahoe in 2 weeks I'm hyped

Nh is fucked. 3 feet of snow has melted in like a week and a half. The rails are all way to high out of the ground and nobody can hit them until they lower them.

Mount Snow is actually making snow which is kind of unheard of this late in the season so I wouldn't say it's over just yet with cold temps returning we might recover a little bit of the loss but nothing major.

I am actually done. Cleveland ohio just got a tornado warning... I didn't even know that was possible in february

Saw pics of Okemo blowing earlier this week too. With the temps that are coming this weekend I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of mountains blowing snow.

I wouldn't say it's over yet. It's gonna cool down quite a bit this weekend for most of the Northeast, so resorts should be able to build back a decent base. I just hope we can at least ski into early April.

Yeesh... I hope you're right. Other than one blast of cold, long term forecast is looking grim right now.
