this winter im probly guna be goin somewhere is the east fer about a week over christmas break. im lookin fer suggestions about which mountain has the best park/pipe, which one is the best overall. thanx

jay peaks is garbage, id rather have a gay man shit on my chest than ski it. plus not many mountains will have a park by christmas. id come later if you are looking to ski park and pow. even jay wont have pow pow then.

-jon, skiing the ice so the other half of the country doesnt have to.

 
my snow's park was incredibly gay when i was there

but waterville is gonna have a sick park next year, jeremy and the freeride team are gonna make a whole bunch of rails, including a rollercoaster, s-rail, and probably a really long one and a kink, maybe

and jeremy get's to help out with the tables and stuff, it's gonna be sweet

yeah there are gonna be some sick parks on the east next year, mt snow, sunday river, hearing damn good things about waterville, and then ive got good old mt creek(sucks in comparison, but has good rails)

The park at my home mountain more resembles a few unsculpted piles of ice, but Last years park at sunday river was pretty sick when i went.

 
as i recall last year at christmas, jay got a bout 3 feet or so between christmas and new years

i rest my case

but yes, the park is garbage for sure

 
I guarantee you that Sunday River will have a park by November 15-20th. Go to the river, it's got the most guaranteed snow conditions.

Okemo if you're going to be in Vermont. They have a park and pipe up sometime in December usually. The do the best job with snow coverage and always have guns blasting over the entire mountain.

okemos got a dope pipe, but the park usually blows balls....my opinion. mt snow has the better park and shit, but last year it sucked for rails n stufffff

This Year Stratton will have a real Superpark, with a special pass needed to enter it. Wait till u see the rails they have bought/made.

 
why has knowone mentioned tremblant??? i went once last year and it was super sick. they had a superpipe, crazy rails (trapezoid,rollercoaster,double kink) and some nice jumps... in my opinion nit that shit up.

 
eh, i disagree with the okemo comment... not after last winter at least, i lost all faith in their snow. the stratton pipe is going to be wicked... i'd either try that, or river.

for okemo, it must have been the time you went. their pipe was awesome all season. best east coast super pipe i rode this past year. okemo had a kick ass park march/april. waterville has always impressed me. both areas have a great crew of skiers to chill with. but i don't know....now that hotty cakes jeff kiesel is moving to waterville...i might even live there to stalk him.

American Skiing Company puts most of their money into killington. In terms of snowmaking and everything. But killington is a shitty mountain.

They put the 2nd most into Sunday River, Sunday Rivers an awesome mountain. I think you'll be happier their. This year their superpark was'nt up in X mas, but they did have 2 sick parks up. One with about 4 rails, a tree grind, and a up-flat box. followed by a nice jump.

the other with a low rail, a box, and a jump.

they did'nt have much snow last winter, so probally by this winter they will have their superpark up. which has MASSIVE HITS, and good rails.

theres a natural mystic flowing through the air if you listen carefully now you will hear. its the first trumpet calling. might as well be the last. many more will have to suffer many more will have to die dont ask me why. things are not the way they used to be.

i think i got my point through...their pipe blew balls this year, but i think it's from lack of snow...but next year will be so sick

ya okemo's pipe was amazing at the end of this year, but i dont know if id go there fer a week cuz i didnt really like the jumps they had. i sorta wana stay in that place on sunday river where i always see the babes in the heated pool while im goin up the lift. thatd be prime. thank yall fer yer advice
