Been searching all threw the regionals.

Fuck that, lets have a thread on ski gabber where the whole east cost reports too.

Michigan, Ohio, West Virgina, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont and so on. I'm chillin in Ohio wishing I had some snow under my feet.

7Springs has been blowing tons of snow and is going to be open this weekend.

Drove up to the top of Springs and got a look at the features for like 10 seconds before I got kicked out. They have some tubes ready but I can't tell if they're gonna put them in the beard or the blast

Killington is aight. Went to the loaded turkey rail jam Sunday. It's snowing a good amount the next week.

Headed up to the White Mountains this weekend. Can't decide which resort to ski at, Wildcat has a good chance of getting some freshies.

Loon's Opening day was super promising, Solid base across 9 trails with decent conditions (minimal ice), active snowmaking on most of the mountain and an almost complete run from the peak to the octagon lodge.

Holiday valley is opening Saturday and has been ski/hike-able all week. Looking pretty promising honestly!

we got like a 1ft last week and in a matter of half a week its gone..... fuck yea east coast

East coast hard core real stufffff hahaha

Gore had some decent snow an good coverage today, opened yesterday. Heavy and wet, only one way down from the gondola. Park isn't great as usual and is just a few features at the bottom of Foxlair on sunway.

I've already shredded Killington multiple times, Okemo, and Loon. I have to say Killington killed it this preseason, although other mountains are catching up. Hoping to ski Sunday River for a few days, so stoked

been to mount snow 3 times this past week - conditions are acceptable for early season... but its nothing spectacular. weathers been ridiculous - Saturday it was snowing up top and raining at the base.

stratton opened with 4 full runs top to mid station and one all the way down. 6 features and a small jump. everything was setup ok but very very small scale. its early and im just happy they set something up. very impressed with tree to tree coverage on all trails they had open.

Anyone got word on anywhere opening Friday in the western New York area? I am itching to ski

Holiday opened this past Saturday. Haven't heard from KB yet. Some of Peak's park crew is saying they'll have snow this weekend for opening but I haven't heard anything about it officially yet.

Yea I was pretty impressed as well. I got a couple runs in Saturday and was happy to see the rain at the base was snow up top. Kind of annoying they couldn't open up the top of lower tamarack or yodeler but overall not too shabby for opening weekend. Tyro was eh but at least they had some features out. Tabletop jump was a nice touch. I heard they are trying to really revamp the parks this year but who knows. All I know is Tyro, Suntanner and a boarder cross course isn't gonna cut it. BTW, I made a Stratton 16/17 thread in regionals if you wanna jump over there.

Sick, the forecast is looking dreadful. Any update on KB or Holiday Valley?

Holiday is closing and re opening December 9th.

Was at peek last night for orientation and they have very little snow, at least on the side of the hill I was on, which is typical for early season as that side of the hill is the last to open.

But I haven't gotten word from my boss or anybody else that's on park crew on any opening dates or when we're gonna start working on the parks. I'll keep you posted though. Should be a fun year, once we get snow, lots of new features this year.

Got some snow in burlington today, also jay peak was pretty great yesterday after getting over a foot in 48 hours

Went to Okemo on Saturday. Trails were in pretty good condition but scraped off by EOD.

I'd never been there before, but I didn't love it. Kind of a weird vibe, lot of families and racers. Usually don't think twice about wearing my park gear to any mountain but deff caught some weird looks in the lodge. Anybody else ever been to Okemo and experienced this?

Solid forecast for next 10+ days for WNY, Peak could both open this coming weekend, but most likely won't until the weekend after.

There was like 2 inches in Plattsburgh overall today. Whiteface was really good over the weekend with getting a few inches Friday into Saturday and ended up getting 7 inches of snow last night into today.

My family used to go to Okemo a fair amount when I was younger and I went back last season. I definitely know where you're coming from. Didn't seem like there was much of a park skiing community there at all besides some younger kids that likely lived there.

When I was younger Okemo had some of the most legit features and riders that I had seen at the time.

I have a ton of homies there that kill it but alot of them ski midweek so the crowd that you saw might not normally see them? not sure really but the vacationers that go to okemo are odd. Its my favorite mountain and yea its a weird vibe but I love it
