I'm thinking of buying new skis this year, probably the Ar6s, but i already have the bridges. Am i just completely disillusioning myself, or would having Ar6s for park and bridges for whatever else actually worth it. I'll probably buy the skis either way, because even if it isn't necessary, there's always still the part of me that says "ya, i'm heading out west in a couple years, it'll be totally worth it to buy skis" while deep down inside knowing i just want more ballin skis to help identify myself as a skier to people, but some feedback to make me feel better about it wouldn't hurt, or some to make me see it's a terrible idea and change my mind wouldn't hurt either.

first of all, geartalk, 2nd of all that seems like a pretty pointless overlap to me get a fatter ski

woah, i'm not going to lie, i've never noticed the categories past site discussion, dually noted. And i want a fat ski, or the obsethed to be specific, but blue mountain doesn't get many powder days, and i just want a softer ski that i can butter around on, because my bridges are stiff as hell.

haha i love when you say you want the wider skis to show off that yoru a skier...haha

yah skiing at blue sucks...i think im might be picking up some anthems which you might want to consider..?

If you're gonna be movin west get the ARVs. great in the park and more of an all mountain ski than the AR6s. They're going to be much better in the powder.

I'm not going to buy an all mountain ski when my current ski is... an all mountain ski. That would be the biggest waste. My current ski isn't the problem, i just want a soft ski i can play around on

Its not a waste if you use them, there is an article in the Skiing Buyers guide that just came out about the benefits of owning 2 or more skis. I live in Philly and I have the Bridges, Scott P3's and I just ordered the Obsetheds. I ski probably 15 days a year in PA and 10 days in Utah, all 3 skis will get proper use. Its also more fun to have the right skis for the right conditions.

Well, you could always go with some Fujatives or Invaders, that way you would have a butter ski to have fun on in the park, and an all mountain ski to shred the rest of the mountain. The AR6's are softer than the Bridges, but are by no means a buttery park ski.

i also got the bridges mad fun ski to ride all mountian but mad stiff like you no... where did you mount them ... and im lookin for a soft buttery fun ski for park... i found atomix triplets for 250... everyone tells me invaders are fun but break mad easily...
