ok.. Heres the deal with Jiminy Peak's new park:

I gotta hand it to them. the set up is looking good and it will only get better..

first out of the gate you have a mellow rainbow box thats a ft wide and 30ft long. then you tuck into either a 66-70ft table or can hip it to either side and land on the quarters.

after this will be their halfpipe.(isnt done yet)

following that there is a 3ft tall box 1.5ft wide thats 40ft long. and immediately to the left is another hip that you can use as a quarter as well.

after this there is a huge quarter at the bottom left. to the right is their 60ft.. more like 45-50ft and the lip right now sucks,, its more of a speed jump with a 100ft long landing. The most i could get over it was a 540.

they will be fixing all of it as they get more snow coverage.

new this year is a coyote ridge park pass requirement. its an 8minute video on park safety and then you fill out info and get a pass. it seems like a pain in the ass but it kept people who didnt belong out and the crew was good to keep checking passes. The also added music for the top of the park and plan to continue it all the way to the bottom.

in conclusion, if you live in the MA, NY area and are lookin to ski some pretty good set ups at night, jiminy peak (thought id never say this) may be the place to check out
 
fuckin a i know some people hate jiminy but i knew they were on the right track. thats so sick its only 40 min away from me so hella after school sessions once i get back on snow. do they still not check lift tickets?
 
havent been checked yet this year... they got the park lift open too along with the six. so jump between lifts if they are check one
 
i was there and it isnt as good as it sounds, the lips are terrible, there are only two rails and the rainbow is the only good one, hopefully they can improve the conditions as the year goes on but as of right now its typical jiminy peak
 
yea once they improve the quality it will be dope but for 40 min drive im down. plus everyone has a season pass haha I went there 18 times last season and paid once, the first time. Hopping the other lift when theyre checking the other is $$
 
they had the 40ft down box set up.. that one is fast and fun. and now they have a c box off to the left that you have to jump up to. and the lips are gettin better as they figure out all the speeds for things
 
Ive skied at jiminy for many years and ive been to other mountains. Jiminy sucks because im there every day. Jiminy Rocks because they have skiing from 9 -10 at night. Jiminy is not that bad of a place to ski. it is big but not to big but not small. They have a great selection of trails to ski and so far this year most of the days ive skied was a powder day. The park every year gets better and this year it will rock i have not gone skiing yet due to wisdom teeth problems but i cant wait to try out the park. The 10 minute movie is boring and teaches you things about common sence but it keeps out all the idiots who ruin the jums, stand on the jumps looking at the nice view (not a bad view) and the racers. Jiminy is a great place to ski
 
The s box is yet to come hopefully but their destroying the massive table because no one could get the speed to clear it( atleast thats what i heard) their adding some more hit's and fixing the last one and should have their half pipe in for this upcomming holiday week.
 
did they have anything(jumps) like around 30 feet just to learn shit on or is it all out sickness
 
its not all out sickness cause the lips are horrible.

they have a small park with like a 15ft jump and practically no lip..

whoever is building the lips at jiminy sucks.. hands down.. they suck
 
it sucks i have gone skiing this year about 5 times and then my skis were stolen, then i get my wisdom teeth pulled so i didnt go skiing for like a couple of days tomorrow i am going to go to florida where the only skiing i can do is water ski or jet ski my whole christmas vacation. It sucks becuase last year i missed about 10 days of skiing. Now that i hear the park is going to be great i wont ski till i come back and buy binding for my new skis that i just bought. GRRRR
 
their setup is so bad, all their jibs are slow and all the take offs are ghetto, Jiminy peak is full of ghettoness that could get you hurt
 
man i havent been there in about 3 years, but its where i learned to ski many moons ago so its good to hear they are stepping it up. Last park i remember them having was a hand made pipe, shitty jump into 10 ft rail on top of small shitty spine. anyone else remember those days...
 
i actually enjoyed my day at jimminy quite a bit the last time i was there... it was a few weeks back, and i was witht he lady friend, i think its absolutly fantastic that your bar opens at 10 am, just wonderful!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

rainbow box, 15ft table/10ft table, 30ft step up, pipe, variation of down flat down rail, flat down flat, down, and up down all next to eachother, quarter pipe, and a 40ft booter at the bottom... (all in order) CHECK IT OUT!!! IT IS FUN!
 
its 40ft at the biggest... and the lip is like 4ft wide..

and the set up is about to change...

and no.. the halfpipe is not in the comp.. the course will go to the right of the pipe.. and host either a jump or two or just that c box
