whats up all,

i am about to buy a new pair of skis for the season with the marker jester binding. going to go for last years model to save some money but they havent changed anything for the 2010 beside sthe graphics.

i do mostly all mountain skiing but mix it up on the trail and usually end a run in the park. i ski in the east coast and would mount the bindings right between progressive and classic stance. Will definetly be spending a week out west and want to use these skis there also. so her ethe debate that i cannot decide...

Narrowed down to two options:

SALOMON SUSPECT OR VOLKL BRIDGE

what do you think?

From what reviews say, I would go with the volkl bridge. It scored extremely high in every review Ive seen. As for the suspect, Ive heard they dont handle well on icy/ hardpack conditions and if you ski the park, the edges suck.

Of those two, definitely the Bridge. You might also check out the Scott Punisher. The 09 Surface Watch Life is also really sick and I think there are a couple pairs for sale on here right now.

Just get any 90mm underfoot lively ski and you'll be fine. You don't even have to go with 08/09. you can find good wood still in the plastic within the last 4 years and loving it. I bought 06/07 186 mojo 90 for under $200 last spring.

Go with the Bridge, it's meant to go anywhere and is the perfect East Coast everywhere ski in my opinion.
