when is this shit gona change? vt is slayed right now by this weather i dont even feel like skiing anymore until we get some snow
 
I live in southern Ohio and i think the most snow in one night/day this winter is about 4inches

lets hope Feb will be a good month
 
yeah early season was looking real promising and then it died out then it was looking good a few weeks back now its warming up again it pisses me off
 
It is hurting in vt!! yeah, i haven't been skiing in over three week in vt. i think i am gonna go up to bolton right now. the sun out and not the rain
 
FUCK. weather.com is forecasting 50 degrees next week (connecticut). those kinds of temps are so warm that VT will get all rain too.FUCK
 
thats true.. the thing thats sucked for me is that i had to work so much in december preparing for christmas and then all of boxing week.. so now that i have the free time to go ski its gotten shitty

its just -9 and retardedly windy where i am rite now
 
yeah dude, ontario blows. Im going to tremblant late february, and Im hoping for some powder...

but I guess at least resorts had time to make snow and get a decent base though right. the sucky part is that its way harder to hit urban or the small amount of backcountry worth skiing on the east...
 
yay i'm pretty over it! yesturday in a period of 45 mins the clouds opened up and covered everything in a sheet of ice, ,needless to say i watch many people eat shit. today it looked like the world was coming to an end, freezing ran, then it started to sleet and snow this change over took place in a period of like five minutes. then i took a nap and when i woke up the sky was blue and the sun was out but it was 50 mph winds! booo i just want to go skiing
 
yah last night it was 5 degrees celcius (pretty warm) and raining and tofday it was -15 so evrything iced over and when i went out today evrything was death
 
yep. dying is exactly the way to describe it. if u think vt. is hurting you should see ny. we havent had snow on the ground for a long time. its just fla out depressing. the mtns are defiently suffering. and then it fucking rains yesterday . . . and everytihgn is now all iced over,
 
this just sucks right now in VT.... we got a tiny powder day the other day, but we have had to ski park for so long! BRING US SOME POW POW
 
This weather sucks but there was a good amount of snow before this. Looks pretty depressing outside my house but the mountains are much more promising. This would be such a good year if it wernt for those 3 ridiculously warm days.
 
don't complain so much, at least you guys have snow, I have to travel to another country before I can ski...
 
mountains in VT might not be doing well, but i know in NH, like attitash, theres tons of snow, so i wouldnt say that the east coast is dying
 
meh, it rained this morning but it's dumping now up here in upstate new york... it's just gonna be a weird winter for the east coast.
 
it is like this every year during january it sucks, then in feb, march april we get the snow back. so buck up and just wait a week or two for the pow to return
 
Yup, the east coast has now got the worst winter on record. fucking climate change, its just keeps getting warmer all the fucking time

 
even if you live in vermont or east coast its still better than skiiers who live in the midwest or arizona and get to ski only when they go on vacation
 
rained and was plus nine yesterday, what happened to ontarios harsh ass -25 without the windchill and 5 feet of snow winters?
 
jay was so good on sunday, they got a good foot or so over the weekend! the woods were fun again and had powder... but now who knows, i didn't check to see if it's raining up there or not
 
man it sucks, but i would probably do the same shit with a 4 foot base as i would a 3 foot one. gives me more of a reason to ski park and try and actually get good...

not to sound like a dirty hippie but i think its because of global warming i mean i live in western md we get a good bit of snow like 8 ft a winter most of the time more. but we had temps that were like 2 and 3 degrees without wind then 2 days later its raining like a mothafucka and then today i go out and its 20 degrees and the mountains a solid sheet of ice i could have went ice skating today thats how bad its was.
 
dont blame yourself its most likely your parents taht planted you in this less fortunate coast of the U.S.
 
stop bitching, and just go out there and ski make the must of what you have, and have fun, if its a little icy work with it
 
We just got rain here in Ottawa but we're getting 20 - 40cm's on friday carrying over night into saturday
 
haha the metric system gotta love canada. it slays the us number one whistler number 2 drinking age is 18 number three free medicare so when you fuck yourself up from drinking and skiing you dont have big hospital bill the government pays it. too bad i dont live there...
 
hahah i agree canada seems like a decent place to live. hopefully we all get a chance to spend a lot of time where there actually is a winter. how sad is it that winter is almost over? i feel like it hasnt even started yet
 
maybe we'll get another dump in the second week of april to make up for it.

global warming sucks. perhaps olsson will give up his 9mpg lambo for our sake...
