I guess I don't really take that into account becaues if I went to middlebury it would be free. i do think middlebury is worth the money though, it's an excellent school.

^Hey West, don't rule a private school out until you apply for your scholarships and financial aid. Most of those small colleges are really good with aid because they have hundreds of millions of dollars in endowment which they just spend on financial aid.

you need rediculous scores to get into middlebury and it costs so much money...i'm seriously considering uvm cuz its so close to so many resorts...for the person asking about soccer uvm is D1 with a winning record

I got into Middlebury... but I didn't have rediculous scores or anything. If you're good at soccer and wanna play soccer there, talk to the coach and then you'll get in. I got in because I play tennis, not because I was a straight A student or had 1450 SATs. But playing a sport takes a lot away from time on snow. I dropped out of Middlebury and transfered to CU-Boulder b/c skiing is more important to me than an education haha.

id say UMD, there are places to ski around here, but the only problem is, those places suck.

go to burlington community college and have my dad teach you math. thats a good option if you are poor, although it is actually expensive for a a community college.

Damn good school (very VERY underrated)

Cheap (especially in state)

Ton o fun (parties EVERRRYWHERE)

Good Urban shit (you'll even see the classic road gap behind worcester dining hall....always sick)

Very cool college town

50 mins from Mt. Snow (one of the sickest parks in the east)

45 mins from wachusett (nothing wrong with some night skiing action...especially since wachusett stepped up their park)

I could go on and on. My biggest advice, dont spend a lot on college unless you have mommy and daddy pay it off for you. $500-1000+/month SUCKS to pay off for 10+ years. WHere you go doesnt matter, what you do there will matter more.

 
go to Paul Smiths in NY, they have soccer but the only downfall is you have to ski at whiteface with all the assholes that ski there.
