or u of vermont is ex. in fact anywhere in vermont is good.

Middlebury in vermont has it's own ski hill, so does Dartmouth.

Jeff: Hey Geoff, did Ronny tell you not to wear any boxers so he could rape you better?

Geoff: No, I just put my boxers on backwards so the hole is in the back...it's alot easier that way.

'I'm in his nigger crew' (my little brother in response to my statement that he was in my 'digger crew')

'My knee hurts' (Jeff Merat after grinding a lunch table for an hour instead of sitting in the ski patrol shack for his torm mcl and acl which he got earlier that day.)

'I'm not asking for any help, just maybe for you to get off your ass.'(my dad)

plymouth, UNH, Keene State, Franklin Pierce (pretty sick D II team), Southern NH Univ. (former D-III national champs I think). there are a LOT in NH alone.

St. Lawrence University isn't in New ENgland, its in upstate NY, but its 2 hours from Whiteface and the D3 soccer team won the national championship in '99 and is consistently in the top 10 everyyear. Lost to Bowdoin this year int he playoffs.

'Why is it called the World Series when it's always played in the Bronx?'

IF you go to Canada, in particular, Montreal, there are plenty of ski areas around there.

I was thinking about middlebury and Dartmouth. Im going to be a junior, and so far my grades and activities are hopefully enough to get me in to one of those. But either way im definitely going to VT/NH/ME or somewhere out west. UBC is in Vancouver and i think they have a bus up to whistler on the weekends. Its a decent school too

if you think you might get into dartmouth, you wont. its ivy league you def need to be top 10 in your class with dank SATs to get in. my $.02

keepin it fresh since 97....

If your grades are just good enough to get into Middlebury, I wouldn't even consider Dartmouth. But still, it seems like you've got it all planned out, going to school where there is skiing.

Yah I narrowed down and will be applying to U of Utah, U of Vermont, or Dart. I didn't check out Middleberry, I'll have to look at that.

Holy shit with room and board Middlebury is $45,000+ a year.

^^Yeah west that's why I didn't go there. Too expensive, but if you have the money, I'm sure it would be a really good time. The place is sick.

u of utah is the sickest college when it comes to skiing. it just takes some effort to find people to party with on weeknights

cornell, yay, accutally, theres, its not the best for skiing the nearest mountain is 45 minutes away and has 35 slopes, heh, its a good collage though, accutally its a university

go listen to some emo. those whiny guys feel your pain.-linemaverick5...

Ithaca College. soo dank. I seriously fell in love with their communications school. They have awesome equipment and major connections in LA and NYC. the closest skiing is probably Greek Peak though haha.

other then that, I'll reccomend Colby up in maine

^don't go to colby, it's in the middle of nowhere, the campus is ugly and there's just a bunch of fat white sheltered kids there. If you're going to spend that much money, spend it somewhere you'd have a good time.

to the kid that said troy is clean and friendly...are you joking? there are crazy rails there but the town is a dump. i live 20 minutes from troy and if you ask anyone around here they'll tell you the same thing. RPI is a sick college, i have a few friends that go there but campus security doesnt play around. if you dont go there they'll hold you there until the police come to give you a ticket for trespassing. go to college to go to college. its nice if skiing is close but if it comes between going to a crap school with a good mountain 10 min. away or a good school where i have to drive an hour + to ski i'll take the good school.

u could really go anywhere in NE and could ski, all depends on how u want ur education and if u r willing to travel 2+ hrs to ski

for soccer, i think plymoth state. uve got tenney, loon, waterville, CANNON, and even attitash and stuff if ull make the hike. but what do i know im only 15

...RUN FOR COVER PRODUCTIONS...

if you are gonna apply to uvm you should apply to saint mikes. its like 5 min away from downtown burlington and you will probably get in. plus the free season pass to smuggs and its close to sugarbush and stowe

alright, if you have a brain, which I assume you do, because you said you wanted a 'good' college...don't go to plymouth state. average SAT scores for that school are 860-1070

if you actually knew anything, you'd know SATs don;'t really mean dick...

Plymouth is the dope shizznizzle, it's a mediocore school...but good enough for most people

why not westcoast? And about the 'good' school thing, technically a degree from dartmouth is the same thing as a degree from whatever else. maybe it will give you some points on a resume.

i goto northeastern in boston and its a good hike to get to the mts but there are some pretty sick urban stuff around here. Theres parts in forward shot in boston but i have yet to figure out which ones and where they were. But yea if youre talkin about middlebury i dont think you belong at plymouth state, middlebury is sick school

its not true that a degree from dartmouth looks the same as a degree from any other school. if you are takling in a points wasy they may be considered equal but if you went to get a job and you had a degree from shitty school and some other person looking for that same job had a degree from dartmouth he would most likely get the job over you. just because of what school he went to.

Any words from students of UVM? Comments.....

better to burn out...

...then fade away

here's what i have to say about UVM. it's a great school. but if you are going to college for education- just go to middlebury. if you are going to party- just go to johnson. but uvm does have both somewhat intergrated and it's in a good area.
