East - Always shitty weather?

Always when i look at pictures and clips from places in the east the weather sucks. Is it a fact that the weather always sucks in the east?

the weather is usually pretty good, but the east has a lot of flat light throughout the day

It all depends on the year I think... Like this winter we got alot of snow, and this summer is pretty mild tempature wise. Compared to last year where the winter was dry as hell, and the summer was hot as balls.... East is so unpredictible

^shut the fuck up. i totally disagree. we got some sick ass parks on the east. granted the west has more to offer w/skiing but the east is so underrated. theres a lot of good riders that come from here.

over here its great weather in the morning and at the end of the season, but during the day in the winter its usually overcast. it just makes you appreciate the nice days more

sure its not as good as west but we have some really nice places to ski and the weather aint that bad.

i cant wait for next season...

i like the east the west is obviously better because they got bigger mtns and more snow and better variety of terrain but the east still rocks

its the midwest that sucks, we all know that. but in the east we get prolly 3 good snow storms a year that make for a good 2 or 3 days until its icy again.

its really unpredictable. we've heard that we're getting 2 feet of snow and end up with 2 inches, and vice versa. ususally trust yer gut not the weatherman. we do get the occasional super bright blue bird day, but usually just alot of flat light - thats why pictures here often look better in black + white.
