Ease my mind

So both my alpine and at boots are at the ends of their lives and I felt the need to treat myself to some new boots. Ended up talking myself into just getting AT boots as I am in the park less as I age. My question is should I have gotten another pair of alpine boots or will the AT boots work fine for some park and jibbing? Bootfitter said I should be fine but I wouldn't mind y'alls opinion.

I skied at boots in the park I don’t have any issues I’ve heard of some pros that ski like mindbender boots flip into hike mode when they land on big jumps but I’m not throwing dubs on 60ft kickers so I’m fine.

Straight up I would rather have one pair of skis (cast) and two pairs of boots than two skis and one pair of boots.
