Earthquake

While I do not want to speak for everyone, in the polling data it seems that there is a strong trend emerging in favor of individuals understanding that you do in fact reside in an eastern asian islandd country

We had a 5.1 over the weekend which triggered my PTSD from the 7.2 we had in 2018 when I thought for a few hours that I was going to lose my daughter.

Earthquakes that big are fucking terrifying, in my opinion.

And they're compacting the earth down the street from my office, so I get to feel random vibrations all damn day that feel like earthquakes while I'm trying to participate in legislative hearings. Fuck this. (Hah, sorry for the rant.)

Hope everyone is okay there, Sean.

I was on the 7th Heaven chair in 01 ish when we had our last biggest one and thought someone was bouncing the chair but i was the only one on it at the time. I think it was a 2 .4

6.9

Loma Prieta quake in the Bay Area. October 17th, 1989 5:04pm. I was 10, filling up water balloons and getting ready to watch the Giants in the world series.

Dude, I was like 2 in that... Its one of my earliest memories. Not the quake itself, but how everyone was scared and worried... it was the first time I ever felt collective anxiety.
