Earthquake This Morning

So I was woken up at 4:35 this morning by a earthquake, and I live in Southern Indiana. The epicenter was 38 miles from where I live and like 15 from my hometown. Apparently it registered 5.2 on the Richter Scale. A guy in one of my classes at the university said it was felt in 23 states, which sounds a bit extreme. So I was wondering, who else felt this thing??

i felt it in chicago, and i had been drinking and i was confused. i didnt know what the fuck was going on. until this morning when i find there was an earthquake.

Midwest is a pretty strange place for an earthquake (relatively speaking). I heard about it on the radio, but thought they were going to mention California, or somewhere in the west, until I heard something about Pennsylvania.

Earthquakes are pretty wicked to experience though.

bwahahahaha I love it when people who arent from the west coast freak out about earthquakes...

We have a 5 pointer at least once every year now it seems... and countless 2's adn 3's every day.

once every couple of weeks, a 4.

I don't know what time it happened but i think i'd sleep through a tornado if no one woke me up. My mom walked into my room at 6:30 and told me there was an earthquake and i was like...shut up mom we live in kentucky.

i felt it here in iowa. it confused the shit outta me, i thought the dog was humping my bed or something

haha hmmmm earth quakes dont really affect me, like seriously im so high most the time they hit, i dont even notice it

i felt it in Michigan, not that much but I still felt it. It was crazy considering that was the first time i've ever felt the earth move. I live in Muskegon too which is not very close the border

i think when they say it was felt in 23 states, that means that the earthquake meters felt them, not necessarily people

I live in southwest Michigan (Kalamazoo) and apparently you could feel it here. Unfortunately I was sound asleep at the time, I'm really upset because I've always wanted to feel one.

I didn't feel it and I live in mid michigan..which is pretty surprising. When I was in japan I learned I was super sensitive to earthquakes, I could feel them like every minute. It sucked, I was sick to my stomach allll week from it.

hahah i laughed.

i have never felt and earthquake but my cats used to freak out when there was tremors..they could feel them from iles away

when i was in hawaii last year i was on the swings at my sisters college and then everyone started freaking out. and me swinging like a sped was everywhere and my sister came running out and asked me if i was ok and im like nah i havent fallen off yet

i woke up to all my picture frames bouncing off the walls here in chicago. i thought it was a truck driving by at first.
