Earth #2 may have been found......

tats sick, too bad they are just guesstimating and they havent actually seen it

but then again they are all nerdy scientists so their word is usually pretty good

32-102 farenheit, much like our Earth. Although, I think it will be a long time before we make something that can go 120 trillion miles.

Straight up awesome! I love this shit! Wouldn't be much good for skiing though... 2x gravity haha... no more spin to win... a 720 would be the most difficult spin!

i dig. except its to damn hot there for snow.

i say everyone from earth now who loves destroying it with pollution, wars over oil, and hunger for money should move there and start over, while all NSers stay here and take what has yet to be ruined by global warming and salvage the cold and snow we have.

that would be epic

no way. earth is run by quasi jewish aliens bent on making money getting their jagons sucked. were just a reality tv show

There's still too many unknowns about this new planet. They haven't even verified whether its rocky (like the earth) or icy. By the broad definition of "habitable" Mars would also be included. Its a cool discovery (especially since it orbits a red dwarf, which was unexpected) but we shouldn't get our hopes up until we learn more.

hah wouldn't the be a trip if we got some radio signals

I'm sure the christians would call it blasphemous

they estimated an average temperature of 0-40 C. This is average, if there are mountain ranges, my guess is that the are snowcapped. A solution to the higher gravity might be found in the technology learned to get us there i.e. anti-grav skis or steezy outerwear.

so fucking negative god damn...try looking on the brighter side of things, you might come out of your depression.

i live in aus.. we use celcius 40 is hot but not sweltering! unless humidity is like real high then its like opening an oven door. but yea for and average its much like earth

get to infants send them out there they grow up on the ship consemate give birh on the ship and continue until populated

so when do you think the first person will go ther????

I'm glad they've actually seen this thing, and observed everything they're assuming...

wait...

Come on guys. I'd be reaaaaaally sweet to find some new Earth, but we have no clue yet.
