Im lookin to ski early this fall anywhere in Europe. When I say early i mean october and november. I know Les 2 Alpes has a deal for the weekend of OCT 21.

So my question is how is the skiing there that early? I know its glacier skiing but is it worth the money?

If not Les 2 Alpes where can I get good snow this early in the season in europe. Preferable powder and just a little bit of park.

How early? If you mean late November you may get some powder if you're lucky.. Otherwise the max will prob be like a few inches.

Check out Tignes, Kaprun, Stubai for other Glacier resorts. Only skied on Stubai and the glacial skiing was alright, it's a bit boring after a day though. Not sure about others. Think TIgnes is seen as the best.

well I was proposing stubai because of the park ^^ I dont really think you will find real powder anywhere in oktobre :-/

Last year the Alps had the best start of a season for along time, we had pow in november and october.. I think it's wishful thinking to think that we're going to get it again and I've no clue about glaciers, they're gay

Have you thought about Hintertux, Saas Fee or Zermatt?

It snowed like 70cm on Hintertux a couple of days ago though, and their park opening is in 1week.

For two years now i've been in Saas Fee in mid october and the park there is pretty descent at that time, you may be lucky and be able to ski some powder there too!

Snow in the alps doesn't really build a good base until january or feburary, snows still good then on piste but if you are going off piste watch out for rocks hiding under the surface!!

My JJs still bear the scars from december skiing :(
