So here's how it is. Add posts and comments to the list after you've skied somewhere.

Copper 1/1/03 (Opening Day): Even though we had to download on the Eagle, the two runs they had open were not at all bad. Copperopolis (the run to the left) was almost like skiing mid season. The mini jib park was good fun as well. Long box, small trap, picnic table, one like this--> -----______, a worthless log jib, and two really short rails that just popped out of the snow. It soon became very crowded in the afternoon, but then again it was opening day. The majority of the crowd were snowboarders, and I was one of two girl skiers there although the other one looked like she was from the midwest or something... Anyway, overall Copper will be the place to be for early season. Watch for their pipe in about a month.

worthless log jib? actually that thing knocked the wind outta me so it was worthless the table was fun used it as a jump the drop down flat rail was useless the sould of only had the first part of it pretty sick mini jib park overall

We went up there yesterday (Friday). It was pretty fun. The snow got skied out by lunchtime, but it was decent until then. Just one run down Exhibition.

i gotta add to the copper post--it was mad crowded at first but by the end of the day there were a lot less people. it was fun to 180 over the picnic table, and the blue box was chill. plus, it started to snow, so it was all good. the season has begun

yah, i was at the mini jib park at copper today...it was pretty fun. the snow in the jib park was good. it was really quiet from about 9-11, then it got kinda busy but definitly fun for a little preseason jibbing

nice, i will be at copper on saturday for sure to hit up those jibs. I'll prolly be in all white or all green and riding Troublemakers. Should be sick.

i went today (tues 11/11) and they added a few more jibs, like an almost ground level box, a 4-5 ft high (approx) longer straight rail, a downslope rail (high getting on) and a true A frame (up-down) with a curved transition.....how they had the larger jibs set up today though it was hard to get enough speed, so i hung out on the smaller box - shorter line, good to practice on.....i'm hoping it was so busy today because it was veteran's day, if not a hell of a lot of kids ditched middle/high school today

i'm hoping to go up again on thurs if i can find someone to go with.....i'm open pretty much during the whole week since i only work fri and sat nights and i just finished an internship so i don't have any classes til the end of january so if anyone wants to go up during the week i'll go since all my friends are in classes still

here's what winter park will look like:

'Parkway and the Gemini Express are open. Parkway has a small jib park on skiers right with three rails. On Saturday, Parkway, Larry Sale and Lower Hughes are the next trails scheduled to open. Larry Sale will have an additional small jib park with four rails and two snow features. We will be running the Gemini Express and Arrow lifts.'

yup today (11/19) i hit it a few times, i wasnt a big fan of it, it had a pretty weird kick, but it was a decent size...about 30ft
