Early november switzerland

I've been looking through some of the other threads on this forum trying to figure out where to ski early season in switzerland but haven't been finding much..
I want to come down from belgium during the first week of november and ski both park the rest of the mountain. I've heard Zermatt is good in the early season?
Could anyone suggest resorts for that early in the season and or cool places to stay? thanks in advance +K

You could either try Glacier 3000 / Les Diablerets (stay at Demonium, www.demonium-mc.com) or Zermatt (try the matterhorn hostel or haus theodul). Problem with Zermatt is they stop shaping the park at the end of October. Zermatt is your best bet for sick pow early november though, if you are lucky. Glacier 3000 will have a sweet park set up if the snow allows.

But to be honest I would just fuck it and go to Val Senales (Gentleman park) or to Kaunertal. This is what Val Senales looks like:

Thanks for the info man - I'm going to stay at the Matterhorn Hostel and ski Zermatt for a few days. Those other parks look super sick but the friend I'm going with doesn't ski a lot of park, so hopefully Zermatt gets some good november pow

Can anyone add to this? How long is the train from Montruex to Glacier 3000?

when does it usually start dumping up there?

Usually end of october / early november.

train from montreux to les diablerets is about an hour to 1 1/2 hours

www.sbb.ch you'll have to change trains at least once

i rode glacier 3000 last weekend. it was pretty dope.

Thanks to those that gave me help, my trip was awesome. Ended up going to Glacier 3000. Zermatt was too hard to get to, plus I did not have much time. Super Sweet- Switzerland is awesome! I want to move there now. I thought Tahoe was cool until I went to Switzerland.
