i was like 2 or 3 at winter park ski school, and on the bunny hill ikept trying to hike back up to get these ski poles since they wouldnt let me have any, and then i cried and went into the lodge and had mountain dew

when i was around 4, straightlining it through a mogul field and tanking it.

forget how old i was but i was streight lining also and went straight in to a haybail and my upper tooth went throught my lower lip

 
I was 5 at Dartmouth, NH. Straightlining the bunny hill and learning to spray people with snow at the bottom.

 
going up a tee bar at martock hill, my dad took me there cause skiing the bunny hill was free.

i was like 5 and i was skiing down the hill and a big guy hit me and picked me up while he was falling so he didnt fall on me and i rode on his stomach for awhile down the run. then my mom flipped not knowing what happened

i was about 6 and i was going up the chairlift to "the top" of this shitty little hill in new jersey and it looked too icy to get off so i stayed on and then jumped off in the woodsy area...and landed.

First time my parents signed me up for lessons and i got bored and went down the face. Then i went and took a lesson then i tried the top of this huge mountain and i couldnt do it.

Was at West Mountain.

i was about 6 or 7, i went with my preschool class, i tripped over a chair and spilled hot chocolate on my awesome neon pink jumpsuit

 
7 or 8ish, upper FIS (black diamond) at smugglers. it was pretty tight. crazy moguls and shit...

i started skiing at two, so i dont really have memories from back then, but i remember one time dangling off my moms ski, when i slipped off the chairlift, and i had to drop like 20 ft into a lifties arms. that was scary.

when my dad let me go at age 4, i didnt know how to turn or stop or shit and my dad coulnd't catch me and i skiied across a frozen lake

 
cross country with my family. i ahd the old woden fat skis and theyd break the trail and since my skis were fatter then they would have to break a trail themselves pretty much. it pissed me off. or just whenever i was cross coutnrying it with my mom...thats what i did fro about 8 years and then i got into downhill about 3 years ago.

i was about 3. i was skiing at this little hill that all the kids in town learned on. i was bombing down and the old lady that owned the place started walked across the slope. i completely nailed her and took her out at the knees. she got up and picked me up by the collar of my jacket..and shook me! she was like 90 years old!! my mom ran up to her and hit her and we were banned from ever going there again.

well i obviously skied from my pops balls to my moms egg so thats about the earliest memory for me

i was about 5 and got run over by chairlift first time up

I was like 16 or 17, my first year switching to skiing from snowboarding. People gave me shit at the local hill then my first week I started hitting a 30 ft. step down, and I didn't know what tricks to do so I started doing screamin' semens. (on borrowed race skis) After that I bought some 1080's for my first pair of skis and a freeze mag. and the mission was on! Within 2 weeks I was dialin' in 1's, 3's and switch 1's. Needless to say I've skied ever since and got way more into it.

I dont know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.
 
Dude, upper FIS is a pretty gnarly trail to be hitting that young. Props. I'm not even sure they opened the upper part of FIS this year. It was really exposed and wind blown. But on a good powder day, that trail is dope as hell.

2 or 3 trying to turn around cones in the bunny hill, with those leash things on my tips so i would keep them together. but then i switched to snowboarding for a while

i remeber i was 5ish and i fell in the lift line of the bunny and my father wouldnt help me and it took me 5 minutes to get up.

 
MY dad strapping me into crosscountry skis, and then going up the chairlift with him, i cried the whole way up, and of course couldn't have turned even if i knew how on the way down, i was 5,

Mine was this winter, cuz I'm a huge newb.

Anyways, I was with a couple friends and I didn't know how to get on the fricken chair lift... so I missed the first one, then the second one came along and I got on. Unfortunately I was off center and when I pulled the cage down I ended up straddling the bar. I looked like a complete moron.

My friends laughed their asses off. Damn. Oh, and I also pole planted between my own legs and flipped over, that was rather embarrassing too.

And I fell on a hill that was steeper than 45 degrees and slid head first for about 30 sec to a minute before I realized that I might never stop sliding.

I hope my pathetic experience at least amuses someone. I'm gonna hang my head in shame and go insult some more of the idiots on non-ski gabber...
