EA Sports Petition to make a ski game

A skiing game would be awesome alot more fun than ssx there should be some urban parts and demos with comps just like SKATE....... we could call it SKI
 
ya a mix between jibberish, skate and shaun white snowboarding would be nice.
like in ssx its a fun game and all but it drives me nuts how close together everything is, and stuff like that its not layed out like a real mountain would be.
and it would be super cool if EA could make it so you get to like choose what kind of style you have, like design your own afterbang and poles or no poles.
and make it so there is sponsors too like in skate
and be able to like legitly make edits and stuff like that and enter superunkown and xgames joss and such.
and ride with pros and film with companies like Level 1 and PBP.
now i know mine is a very farstretch and would be really hard to make and seems like to perfect but if they made it like that how perfect would that be?
 
that would be so sick, i have been waiting for a skiing game. They should make on skiing has gotten huge in the last several years.
 
i hope it will happen, but i seriously doubt it, not a big enough audience.

but what i can see happening is and X-Games game, that incorporates lots of the events

like skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling and all the different variates and competitions that they do.
 
Damn man, Dreams = Crushed, right now. Just kidding, its goot that you brought some realism to the thread, cause theres been a few of these threads that just get peoples hopes way up but never deliver.
 
you'd think they could use the engine/graphics from another game and use it for a skiing one. Even if they really only changed the graphics (skier instead of snowboarder) and the tricks. Hell, i'd take the same mountain out of shaun white. Rename it Jon Olsson's skiing, and use the same game!
 
it would have to be like skate, because the physics in shaun white sucks, its llike gravity is multiplied times a million.but that post on the first page that goes into depth about how skiing could be like skate, is one of the best posts in this thread, and i totally agree
or, GTA northstar?
 
beggars can't be choosers. If they have to make a few games with bad physics etc first, i'll take it. You will get absolutely no where demanding they make a skate style game for the first one. It would be great, i know. But it would also be extremely expensive to develop and make it so it just wouldn't be worth it for them. We need the tony hawk shittier games first. They didn't just go straight to skate, did they? We have to work our way up.

I think Simon would be more the one to make a game. Tanner just doesnt seem like hed be on to making a game whilst simon seems like he would be more into it
 
That would be sick, I've been thinking about this alot like make a ski game that is similarly like the game skate but a skiing verison.
 
seriously if it was anything like SKATE or throw back moment here tony hawks pro skater, or any of the tony hawk games but with skiing i would buy a copy and possibly a new game console if it wasn't made on ps2 or Wii. Clark Frey /signed
 
I wish this would happen but as said before the profit margin most likely wouldn't be large enough to put in the time making a game like this.
