EA Sports Petition to make a ski game

if i where going to ea sports with a buisness purposel(sp?) i would think, of a way that would be good for both ea, and us. still do what your doing with getting every1's sigs. but ask EA if they make a snowboard game, to add maybe a skier option or anything like that, and show them all the signatures and tell them that these signatures would represent people who say they would buy the game, and that all those purchases would be added onto their origional amount of sales so they know that they would make more money. caus lets face it. all EA gives a shit about is money, so mention they could get more if they do this.

Kay so we need to make a facebook group everyone has facebook and thats prob the way. and it cant be a pitch just to ea- they already have the money if we pitch it to alot of companies they will feel they need to if they see any potential that. its all in the pitch and getting enuf people. we could do it. some one make a group then pm me

This is what i was thinking. Okay have like a career mode when you can eather choose a pro or am skier or create yourself. You start off bad but you have to train and enter comps to become a pro and stomp some sponsers. They really need a dope game.

I sent an email to EA and they said the only thing I could do is maybe post the idea on their forum cause developers look over that "frequently for ideas." So I may make an account and post that idea up on their boards.

We need a game like amped...

better gameplay however with sort of T.H.U.G. themes where you start off as an unknown skier who gets known as you ride different mountains getting more sponsors and unlocking other parts of the game...that would be sick

i would DEFINATELY want EA to make it. i just played Skate for the first time today and that is the most realistic and awesome game i have played for a while. i would pay a lot of money for a ski game like that.

i dont see it happening it would be real sick though, ssx on tour was sick as hell though dont hate on it mad tricks on the other hand not so great

skiing game with real skiers and skis that you can choose from like SKATE! that would be soo sick

I submitted my resume to EA and they're gonna be on campus in a week or so doing interviews. If I get an interview I'll tell them to make a ski game. I'm sure they'll listen to me. After all, I have 18000 posts on the most visited skiing website on the PLANET.

okay, everyone whos posted in this thread make an accound on the ea forum and start a thread about a ski game, and keep posting in it to keep it alive

I have never owned a video gaming system, and don't want to (unless a computer counts) but i still think your idea is a good one and the more realistic skiing games there are the better.

im signed

should be for xbox 360 though and not ps3 cuz ps3 costs too much to get.

also should look like skate except skiing

There's no copyright issues on mods. This is the whole point of mods. Usually a mod is from a open source game and you can do pretty much whatever you want with it. Example: old Half-Life --> Counter-Strike (wich is arguably the greatest online game ever) and guess what, CS is a mod and now has copyright for it. But The fact is HL was open and they allowed ppl to modify the game at their will back in the days. Maybe if someone could get the Jibberish guys to give their work and then someone could continue the work.

I agree with Schmuck ... EA won't pay for that game. However, if someone has enough will / free time to do his own game, they might be willing to publish it once it's ready to release.

For what people were saying about Amped 3 ... the game is of course unrealistic, however. the mechanics are just insanely well made. Take the quad-flips and the BS cork 14 to "S" tree jib out of it and it would be a good game.

and keep in mind that even though it's fun to have a realistic game ... it's not gonna attract people outside the current community. Even if ALL of us on NS (the 80 000 members or so) get the game and actually PAY for it ... it's not enough for companies like EA to invest in a game. A succesfull game for those companies these days are more like 2 millions of copy sold in a year.

If someone ever get that game going though, make sure it enter Gaming competitions; this is definately the best way to make it one of the big game out there (just like what X-Games is to Skiing)

word. mosely game doesnt even work for my ps2 anymore. but jibberish for ps2 would be sick.

but as for a Wii, who the hell is gonna be able to stand on the ground and throw a 10? like the thinking though. sign me up

i personally dont think they woudl make it i mean im one of the only peopl ei no who like SKATE and when my friends come over and play it they all cant figure it out or care about it and just try to brake as many bones as possible. i think that the majority ofpeople would be like this
