EA Skate

a fun little game i would say

it is much better than tony hawk games (which has been going downhill immensely)

Have you played the new demo for proving grounds. I think it is so sick that you can create whatever you want in the level whenever you want to and you can just get rid of stuff you dont want on the level. In the full game you have like 100 options of things you can put anywhere so you are basically creating the level. If you chose that career path and there is 3 different careers you can choose.

just go around the side til you get to a ramp then head back to the rail

the next challenge is retarded though, 360 flip to fs crooked, I have no fucking idea how to get that done haha

its so much fun i must say but hard i mean im trying to get my film parts done and its taking me awile whats the secret of getting big line scores?

if it does happen in your first year they extend the warrenty to 3 years, it did happen to mine and they fixed it pretty fast and got a free month of xbox live gold

I just got into the plan B warehouse... when do you get into that HUGE skate park with the mad jump, and the x-games? (two different things...)

your pretty far away from the xgames, you dont get to unlock the "huge skatepark with the mad jump" untill a little after the xgames

haha, i got a red ring of death on my regular xbox yesterday. It was mad scary, but i went with the classic microsoft solution of restarting it, and it was all good.

I was playing the demo of that game, so epic.

It's so fun to think about a trick, then do it.

And you have to make ur own lines and think of linking certain tricks together. It's sick.

This game takes skill.. It takes effort to get good.

I broke it open, and immediately started skating around. I was going for a

good minute in a half as fast as I could, and stopped to check the map,

thinking I had made some good headway. I had barely moved on this map!

To say the city is huge is an understatement. And there's stuff to do

EVERYWHERE.

The possibilities are endless. I could see myself losing at least 100

hours of my life to this game before I'm bored of it, and I probably wouldn't get off if I had no self control. The possibilities

are just so vast, and I haven't even done much career yet. Almost none

at all, actually.

What I didn't realize before is that San Vanelona is a combonation of

San Fransisco, Vancouver and Barcelona (yeah, I'm slow, ok?). It's

really cool because I live in Vancouver and there are actually things

from Vancouver in the game! The Vancouver Public Library is there, I

was sooo suprised when I saw it. Also, the Shearton Wall Center is in there... and that's also in Vancouver.

This is the best game experience I have ever had to this day in my

life, and I've barely breached 2 hours of gameplay, and I've probably

explored about 1% of the city.

Buy this game. Unparalleled gaming experience.

i love the game... the challenges the pros the map... but i cannot figure out how to do difficult flip tricks... im soo horrible at them. any pointers?

I just finished Danny Way's maga compound jam last night, holy crap. I couldn't stop playing this game(mainly because I can't play Bioshock at night).

If there's a Skate club, invite plzkthxxxbye

Best game ever, i woke up at 12 yesterday and i played til like 8pm without even noticing how long i played.

on the mega ramp and the mega compund, I'v pulled countless bio 7's, and Iv spun, (but not landed) something like 30 double flips, its pissing me off.

Such a sick game. It has a couple flaws, but if they make a second game I think it will be amazing.

help me decide what to buy.(once they release)

1. halo 3

2. proving ground

3. or SKATE.

ive bought every thps game, so i dont want to break it.. halo 3 is just pure epicness, and ive heard amasing things about SKATE

I'd get skate it's my favourite video game I've played to date. Also The THPS started getting pretty boring and repetitive after underground 1 and I'm not a big fan of the halo series.

yah theyve fixed it for the most part i think, it was only first generation that had that particular problem.

that said, my brother's crapped out around finals last semester and he spent all summer sending it back and forth to the repair people...every time it came back it would break again within an hour after we plugged it in

eventually microsoft expanded their warranty and sent us a brand new xbox

they also refunded all his repair costs, so that was pretty cool of them

Skate and GTA are easily my favs. I have played and loved both 1 & 2, but is it worth buying 3? I am definitely considering it...
