alright so for all of u out there who r into the video game scene(if ur not then dont respond), how many of u are lookin forward to the ps3? i know i am simply cuz its gonna be amazing...and for all of u GTA people ive heard talk of a new GTA game that is supposed to be takin place in london so im on pins and needles for all of this
 
they had one for the XBOX360 but i heard talk of another for PS3 and the new nintendo console
 
actually that wasnt E3....that was something microsoft did just for their system, so yes, there is still an E3
 
E3 was just on the news today so im sure it wasnt too long ago... but fucking rights im waiting for the ps3, its supposed to be like 5x more powerful than the xbox 360
 
PS3 is fucking gay I'm not going to drop 600 dollars on something that is only a little more powerful than x360 and has shitty online play. In fact I wouldn't even buy any video game shit that expensive.

E3 was las week. and next E3 will be in May 2007.

The PS3 is going to come out in Nov 2006 in the US, in japan and in Europ on the same day in two versions a 20 gig for 500 and a 60 gig version for 600

the Wii has no price set yet but Microsoft teamed up with them and anounced that buying an Xbox 360 now and buying a Wii will cost less than buying a Ps3

also The Wii will be able to play every NES game, SNES game, N64 game, and gamecube game ever made, a 20 years of Nintendo games database will be available (for money of course) to Wii owners.

Zelda will be a launch title and is a must own game

this is the controller for the Nintendo Wii it looks werid but OMG is it great. first person shooters, Mario Warez, Zelda, this controller rocks at everything

ohh and for the PS3 I wouldnt recomend the $499 version of the PS3 since it might become useless for blueray movies in a couple of months
 
I was reading an article in ComputerWorld (Canada) that was saying it currently costs Sony $900 US to build each PS3 console. As a result, they're considering holding off on the release for at least a year, until the components (in paticular the Blue-ray stuff) come down in price. I've heard Sony is already having some financial trouble, so this doesn't bode well for the PS3.
 
that was something that came out shortly after E3 last year. the 900 dollars was an estimate made by a computer hardware expert. but its not the exact price.

the date on which you can get the first 2million PS3s will be on November 11th for 500 or 600 dollars then you can get the second batch of 2 million PS3s 2 months later followed by a third batch 2 months after that.

they will be sold for less than what Sony pays to make them the same way most consoles did before them

they did that with the PS2, Microsoft did it with the Xbox and is doing it with the Xbox 360, and the way Nintendo did with The N64, and gamecube

where they make their money is in the software. so Halo 3, Gran Turismo 4, and Zelda are what the 3 console companies are going to want to sell

nintendo is lfalling in the market, they should just stop while they dont look like total bitches....its a lot less powerful than the XBOX360 and the PS3 is supposed to be at least 7 times more powerful than the XBOX360..so obviously, sony is dominating and shows no signs of giving up the top spot to any opposing company...JEA SONY!
 
last years figures were pretty exagerated but not that much. las year I think they said the PS3 was like 3 times as powerful as the PS2.

as far as graphics the PS3 has about the same as the Xbox 360.

Nintendo is going a differnt route which is super risky but their hopping that the pay off will be great.

they are betting everything on gameplay. they think that if they have super fun games then people wont notice that the graphics arnt as good.
 
yea ur right, except the PS3 is said to be better in graphics compared to the XBOX360 believe it or not, which is something else im looking forward to
 
it is. it has a better video card. but as far as the look they look very much the same. they both have HDRI (high Dynamic range image) and all the Direct X 9 shaders so the only differnce is in speed and pixel count and that is barely noticeable.

if you want the best graphics just get yourself a PC. The PS3 isnt out yet and the graphics cards on PCs are already better than on PS3
 
the PS3 is going to be so tight. I was afraid after last years E3 with the funky controller but they kept the same design.

But Halo 3 looks pretty damn good on the 360
 
Graphics can only take a system to far.

Nintendo games are fun as hell even with graphics less (but still great) then the ps2 or xbox360.

Should be good to see how this works out.

I want a ps3 just so i can use all my old ps2 games :)
 
I think if I got my hands on some extra money I'd buy a Wii to dick around with, only cause it's different though

All the trailers I've seen for PS3 games have blown my ballsack
 
who gives a shit about graphices. i've had more fun playing NES games than DOOM3. IT isn't about the hardwear, its all about creativity and gameplay and most important-the games.

the only thing i don't like about the Wii is the controler. i don't want a workout when i'm tierd and just want to play a game of super smash bros. before passing out in my bed. i guess you will probably be able to play with a gamecube controler.

the ps3 is the worst thing i've seen. it will have limited amount of games, because it will be expensive to make them, it itself will cost more than a brand new pair of skies(wich is a better choice), its fukin huge compard the the Wii and a bit bigger tha a 360.

the xbox 360 is a good system......

no how about you shut the fuck up and do some research yourself. I am sorry, you must have some sort of secret source who has leaked to you all the info about the sony online system, cuz there has been no fucking info released yet.

Sony is going to stumble. in the past 30 years no company has lead the market for more than two generations.

The Wii is going to make some serious waves next year, just you watch.
