I take it you've never taken a course in number theory.

No amount of proof could ever disprove god to people. people who want to beleive in god will only care about things that prove his existence and disregard any proof to the contrary.

nothing will ever proove the existence of god and if something does proove it, proof denies faith and god would stop existing.

anyways trying to prove or disprove the existence of god is useless. if some people need god in their lives to give their life a purpouse or to answer unanswerable questions (at the moment) then thats fine but for some reason not beleiving in god and not accepting the 'Its Magic' answer to some of lifes questions is being frowned upon and people constantly try to convert you.

I say beleive in whatever you want but keep me out of it.

^Good point T-Man. Everyone is on a path in life, and everyone questions the existence of God at at least one point. Some are convinced that they've found Him, some are certain that He is just fable. Personally, I believe in God, like 1080PLP said, this world to me is just too complex and beautiful for it to all be a random accident, but that's just my opinion. As for trying to convert people, I'm very much against any form of forced evangelism. For me, I've found such an indescribable joy in God, and I desire to share that with the people around me. However, I have never once told someone that they needed to believe in God. I try to live my life by acting out the principles of my faith (which the underlying principle is to humble yourself and love and serve others, under any circumstance). It is in this way that I share my faith, simply by the way I chose to live my life. Now sometimes I will ask questions about what they believe and it will develop into a discussion, but I never force my beliefs on anyone. Finding God is personal. I cannot force someone to believe in God, therefore I do not try. It is up to them. All I can do is show how it applies to my life. A quote that I try and live by is, 'I'm just a beggar telling another beggar where he can find bread.'

'The true measure of a man is how he treats another who can do absolutely nothing for him.'

I get tired of posts like this after a while. It is impossible to messure anything that can't be proved or disproved. No Christian ever claimed that God occupied any physical amount of mass, so that whole this was just a bunch of bullshit. A few weeks ago I went to a lecture about the intelligent design of the universe. It proved deism. How could say that there are natural laws that govern the universe are an accident- gravitational constants, the strong force, everything. Electrons should be collapsing on nuclei, but they aren't (negative attracted to positive) because of the complex laws of quantum mechanichs. As far as I am concerned, this is no accident. If things like the gravitational constant or strong force (hold neutrons/protons together) were off by 1% there would be nothing- no Earth, no universe. Everything isn't a mistake.

yo yo yo guy, it isnt possible to disprove god using, because that would be a huge contradiction, and one that could not be over looked guy, nothin could disprove god, because that would be bring ma boi down to a human level. God apparently is above everything else.

'I have a question... Where exactly does the bible state that God is composed of infinite amounts of energy?' thats JD May destroying the whole article.

as for belief in God, im with Bhayter10, the world is just too complex beautiful and diverse to be explained by scientific BS about the big bang (my favorite quote from the whole article?: 'Our universe started with The Big Bang- a finite, not infinite, ball of mass and energy' as always, i wonder where this mass and energy came from: if something doesn't first exist, then the probability of it existing is 0, and the probability of it existing ever is still 0, even after billions of years (btw, what is time?), so in that logic, if the probabiltity of mass and energy existing out of non existence is 0, then all big bangers believe in the same thing as us: an infintite (in time, not energy)being, with no beggining and no end).

the world is too complex, and has too much order and sophistication to be explained by freak chance (time+chance+nothing=everything is a good equation to live by, don't you think?), and this i believe with all my heart.

as for 'preaching', it is our duty as christians to get our beliefs out to the most possible, and i will not for the sake of not igniting a debate let my beliefs be trampled on; this does not mean however that one must shove our beliefs down anothers throat: God gave us the choice to follow Him, and we need to give others this same choice, but only after having stated our case in the clearest way possible.

as for this site, i don't even want to get started on examaning it in detail and showing all the fallacies in there, and im not about to drag pearls before swine with what i have to say.

to believe in God or not, whatever, that is your choice and is between you and Him, but i also wish more people on here wouldn't jump to conclusions, and get to know what we believe in before ignorently bashing it.

If you need someone to prove christian beliefs, look up CS Lewis.

peace guys.
