Dynasty

So today all of my friends said we should go to dynasty, i obliged to say no because, in my opinion and over the whole lawsuit shit, i wouldnt like to support WME...so all my friends went and i didnt, my question is did i make the right decision? would you have gone?
 
I wouldn't go - I saw a few minutes of the "behind the scenes" and over half of what they showed was from EDIAS, literally every park or urban shot was from EDIAS and a couple of BC shots were from it too. If you've seen EDIAS then you've pretty much seen the stuff you'd wanna see anyways.
 
i went and saw it saturday night to get a free lift ticket out of it. i got into the movie free so there was no supporting of WME on my part monetarily, although i do feel bad about not supporting the ski club that put the showing together. the movie itself was horrible though. it was the first time in my life that i've ever actually wanted to get up and leave halfway through the movie. not even another WME movie had that affect on me. the group of friends i was with felt pretty much the same way. it was just mediocre shot after mediocre shot, with obnoxious johnny moseley narration saying how he was known for skiing bumps. for the sheer fact that the movie sucked, you made the right choice.
 
The movie was for sure mediocre, and not worth the $12 I spent to get in. WM movies always offer some culture and some history of the sport but this year half the footage was from EDIAS and the rest of the skiing wasn't even that impressive. The sound track sucked to. Either way I love ski moves even if it did suck. I've seen all the premiers this year and as a whole I'm stoked for the 09-10 season.
 
The only part you missed out on was the Chinese guys skiing on homemade skis. other than that you missed absolutely nothing as long as you have seen EDIAS
