Dynastars or armadas?

Should I get 2 pairs of trouble-makers or ar6's and pipe cleaners, I need a pipe ski thats why I would get 2 trouble makers, I've never had armadas and was wondering how they are? I think the new trouble maker would be a whole new ski with the new edge though.

your thoughts please

I think it would be weird to go from a ski with such different dimension to other dimensions on the day of a pipe comp.

T-Hall and Pipe cleaner

herd that edge reinfocement stuff kinda falls off like the plastic things in the base

deff go armadas i got the pipe cleaners and well i havent skied them yet but they should be good and if the edgey thingy messses up send em in and get new ones there good about there warentys. but i expect there skis to not fall apart

jp vs juliens, t hall, ar6, ant, arv, pipe cleaners, then u'll have an ok set up with that until the arg comes out

Nah

Jps for mega pow

ARVs for everything

Pipe Cleaners for pipe

thats all u need unless u do a shitload of big mntn then mebbe the Ants

You know i saw this kid skiing moguls in some TMs without an edge doing zippers better than some mogul skiers and then he did a huge sw cork 9, i dont think it matters.

pipe cleaners should be your pipe ski. As for your "everything else" ski that's up to you. tms or ar6s would be great jib skis, just go with the cheapist one.

I'll say Armada cause they have been loyal to me since the beginning. The Pipe Cleaners DO NOT have a rail warranty so for those of you that say that if the weird edgey thing falls out to send them back...good luck getting anything.

I have a friend that has been threw two pairs of Dynastars TM and the Phil Larose and he basically has no edges left. He grinds on his sidewalls now, and has groovys.

TMs are the best park ski I have ever used, other than the weak edges. Although I prefer skis to be on the heavier side, so I don't flail as much.

I have never ridden Armadas other than a couple jibs, so I don't know how Pipe Cleaners would handle.

What are you talking about? What skis have rail warranties? NONE - The pipe cleaner has the same warranty as any other Armada

As for the thread topic- Armada all the way

what edge thing are you people talking about on the PCs? they have the same 2.5 mm edge as the ar6 and thall and whatnot. I think the original edge concern was of those things they put in the TMs to fix their edge problem...

na dont get dynastars! after the concepts and tms blowing out edges all over the place i wouldnt go near any other ski they make

I've rode Armada every year since they came out, and i havnt found a ski I liked better! But I wish I would because it sounds like everyone rocks them. oh and the TM's are to skinny.

get t-halls for park, and find a pair of the dynastar promodels (i.e. larose, belanger, crichton depending on availability and size needed) for pipe.

the pipe cleaner is clearly a sick pipe ski, no question. however, i don't agree with people writing off the troublemaker. let's not forget that this is considered by many (myself included) to be the best pipe ski ever made...

that said, i've not skied the 07 so i guess idk.

Never tried the pipe Cleaner

but for park I would go TMS all the way they are simply the best ski I ever tried

are you fo real? armadas no doubt. the pipe cleaners are like god, but you cant really use them on rails cause it would ruin their amazing base, and it would defeat their purpose. but the ar6 and pipe cleaner combination trumps mostly anything.

I was skiing on both several days in the superpipe in Zermatt, and the difference between the AR6 and the Pipecleaner is marginal at best.

The Pipecleaner is definitely another move from Armada to commercialize on people with too much money to burn.

I ride Armada right now and I don't see how any of their skis "trump mostly anything" when you see that Rossi puts out a park ski that is almost half the price, more durable, technically better and even better looking. And I don't see how Armada is automatically better than Dynastar... the troublemakers ski VERY different and are sick skis.

dynastar no question they have the best all around build and this years are built to last. AArmadas arte sick but dyna has the backround the end.
