Dynastar warranty

So i picked up this years trouble makers in the middle of january, allready a inch part of the edge has fallen out and the bottom is starting to bubble. On the other ski a piece of the edge bent 45 degrees inward on the ski, peeling up a good chunk of base. Anyone know how good the dynastar warranty is, or will they give me some shit about using park skis in the park?

most all companies stay away from warrentying rail damage. I have heard that dynastars have notoriously bad edges, though it might have been fixed. take it to a shop and see what they think. warentee is intended for defective skis, i.e., tip/tail delamination and such.

i have dynastar tms and i LOVE them, never taken mine on rails but for an all mountain ski theyre pretty fun. i wouldnt discourage anyone from buying them...

Yeah.....you don't know what you're talking about. My friends and I have about 12 pairs of skis from Dynastar and haven't had any issues with the company whatsoever. They make great skis and stand behind them--I don't know where you got your opinion of them?

That's shitty that your skis are falling apart, but keep in mind that bashing them on rails every day isn't going to do anything good for the edges. If you're hard on your equipment you just have to stay on top of damage and take prevenative measures before the problem gets out of hand. I had small delams on both my pairs of LP's but was able to catch it and fix them before anything bad happened. They still ski like new and were made in 2001.

is there any chance of getting them replaced? I know my skis are going to take some damage, but it happened insanely fast, and the bottom is starting to bubble out, never happened before

idk man i dont think so. I cracked the edges on this years tms in about 7 spots on my 1 ski and like 4 diff spots on the other

i'm in the same boat. Below is my messages with Dyna about getting my skies warrentied.

Subject: weird bumps on bases

Hello,

I have a pair of 06/07 Dynastar Trouble Makers in 175 that have

weird

bumps in the bases near the front tip. However, I did buy them with Look

bindings that are mounted on them so I believe the warranty is still

valid. There are two of bumps, one is about an inch and a half long and

a

centimeter wide located about 15ish inches from the tip. The other is

about and inch long and located about 8 inches from the tip.

Is there anything I can or you can do about this, if you would

like to

see pictures feel free to ask for them.

Thank you,

Thomas Robinson

Well, I went through 2 pairs in 1 year, the shop covered one but they refused the 2 other ones they called it "abuse". On both occasion, the tip edges ripped from the ski. I was deeply disappointed in dynastar. Go with rossignol, the scratch fs 2004 have not let me down...and I abused the rossis
