dynastar twin board concepts on rails

Do they hold up well? i just started using mine on rails yesterday and i'm just wondering if they'll bust.

no skis are going to hold up that well on rails but dynastar, although a great ski, is one of the weaker skis out there when it comes to rails. just try not to use them that much on rails.

ok thanks...i'm too broke to buy another pair of skis and what really sucks is that i had a major growth spurt last year so i'm riding 165s and i'm 6'1

dont worry those skis are only like 100$ now anyways just buy a new pair if you fuck them up... i took about 12 inches of edge out on one ski and 16 on the other on mine and i also broke the tip... yes they hold up pretty horribly on rails... but you can find some new ones on ebay for cheap

Yea a little bit of metal frayed but i just knocket it off with the end of the hammer...I did catch a really bad edge once thogh and had a first course meal of rail. That pissed me off but other than that they were fine.

Solid...i can't wait till i get new skis tho, they are 165s and i'm 6'1 but i don't got any money to buy bigger skis.

Mine have been fine for 2 or 3 seasons.

I have new skis now, but I still use the concepts as rock skis/urban skis.

Twinboard Concepts, hell yeah, thats what i ride, 3 year old (only been riding them for 2) they are pimp shit, i love them, i dont do much rails so i cant help you there, but i just wanted to comment ont he fact that they are sweet

how are the concepts??? im looking for skis and i saw the dynastar concepts and they look pretty gooood. im more of a rail guy any comments?

 
i rode concepts last year and i thought they were excellent skis. my opinion changed when i rode thise year's ar5's and just bought some pe's. they are much better carvers. it's prolly mostly because i dont have much edge left on my dynastars though.

I loved my concepts when I was smaller.

I kind of really outgrew the 165.

But they are great. Kind of choppy at high speeds, but still great.

I've been doing rails for a while now..not relaly much urban but i did once but anywyas so far my edges seem to be holding up well but when i go to whistler for 10 days i'm expecting to prbably fuck them up badly

The edges are a little bit more rugged than on the TM's but they do have a habbit of impaling the sidewall occasionaly.
