For all of you people who thought that the new trouble makers edges weren't going to be fixed you were wrong i just asked the Dynastar Team Manager and he said that they beefed up the edges made them stronger, and that they got new sidewalls too.

 
^^ i'm one of those people. i loved the skis... They were really fun, and kept their camber, and had good flex... but the edges were not made for rails. its ok though.

they def did make the edges thicker....i had a pair of nothin but troubles (sold em) but the edges were prolly about as thick as the pe's

the troubles last year were so dope i had em...even when the 3 edges of my ripped out under my boot and behind they still held together just fine...so hopfully i can pick up a new pair his winter but the graphic is kinda lame...but itle do

Sorry y'all but I'm looking at my 06 Trouble makers right now and they're the exact same as my 05's and my 04's. Don't get me wrong I love this ski, obviously, But They Are the Exact Same Ski New Graphic end of story. I of all people would love to tell you otherwise but it would all be a lie just like this guy apparantly was told. I work directly under the West coast regional head of Dynastar so consider this coming from the source. SAME SKIS...... NEW GRAPHIC. The Edges are the same the sidewall everything is exactly the same. This is also true for the Crichtons which are the same as the Phil models which are "the exact same ski as the TM with 1 extra layer of fiberglass."

the BC Dyanstar rep told me, when I asked what they are doing to improve the edges, roughly quoted: There is nothing wrong with the edges, why would we fix them. Skis are not supposed to hit rails, of course they will break.

however they are not just a new graphic on the 06s. they are a different shape, way stiffer, and have weird shit on the core to make a funky flex pattern.

It seems like a lot of people from ski comapanies feel that if they deny durability issues, that the issues will just go away. To dynastar's credit, they aren't the only ones who do it.

Yeah, the edges suck, but Freeskier has had the TM as the best freestyle ski two years in a row. They've got to be doing something right. Just use some old beaters (maybe your old TMs) on rails and get the new ones. I think I'm gonna go with the Big Trouble personally.

Well please, since you are the Dynastar Team Manager, tell us what's happening with the edges. Are they going to be better next year? You do know that they suck right? Do you care? I think all of NS would appreciate you clearing this up instead of just making us wonder.

First of all I am the TEAM MANAGER, not the SKI DESIGNER...do you get the difference? All I know is the edges and sidewall are being beefed up but I do not know when it will take affect... I'll be sure to let you know.

actually he did lie. novotny just said they are planning to beef them up but he doesnt know when. in his first post carmada said they already HAD beefed them up therefore eh lied. they did not chnage them this year 06
