How are the concepts in the park compared to line 1260s? how are they for going off switch?

and, has anyone gotten to try next years concepts?

Next years concepts are the same but differnt graphics pretty much. Check into the 350.00 w/bindings and shipping deal im offering a few threads below.

i would go with concepts over 1260's. next years concepts look a lot better than this years, i didnt like the graphics all that much. we all know how important the look of the ski is... which is why i bought candides...heh

 
Are 165's too short. It seems to me that they'd give you an unstable landing, but 180 is too long for me.

 
I'm just around 5'9, 150lbs and ride the 165's i like them that length, i wana try the 180s to see how they are in the pipe, but i really think that it is unnecasery to go with skis over ur head, espc. with twins, my all mtn ski, head super cross ti, ive got in a 170 that come just to the top of my head and is an awesome ski, idk i guess i like a lil bit shorter of skis

its really all preferance. i tend to like a longer ski, but u should try out both to see which one u like more.

 
thanks guys, im going to get concept pros from my rep. i ride 1260s right now, the size is great, so 165 will be good. im 5'6' 150lb.s and i dont want huge skis

I'm exactly 5'11, 130 lbs. I have some 183 Enemy's right now, but they suck shit for spinning and tricks. I want to go shorter, and get good at corked stuff, so I was thinking 165 would be okay for me. The skis come up to my nose, I'm just hoping that's not too short.

Nah, 165s are grea for park. The only thing is, you'll lose the versatility of the ski. It'll still rip on hardpack, but it'll make off piste stuff real hard. I'm almost 6 foot, but I ski on the 1260s.

Thanks, I'm getting a season pass to Breck next year, so I'll be doing about 90% park. Maybe if I get the stiffer candides they'll be a little better if I go in the moguls and steeps.

dyanstar should really make a size between 165 n 180. i was thinkin about gettin the 165's but i wanted a ski for the rest of the mountain also. sumthing about 170 to 175 would be perfect.

 
definitely agree on that last post, I have the 180's, I think they're a little long but I don't have any problem with them. and 165 sounds too short. Anybody seen the ad for concepts in freeze and 175 is printed on the ski? I think there is also a 175 pictured somewhere on their website. I want those skis. But what is 5cm?

 
i like my concepts...but they aren't that durable...u get so many gashes and cracks and breaks so easily...but I like skiing on them
