I sent my candides that were delaming at the tip in and they were still under warranty and i get the skis back and see that instead of repairing the ski they sent me a brand new ski just one ski so i have one ski thats never been used and one ski that has been drilled twice and skied for an entire season which meand different edges different base heights and different flex in the skis.

How rediculous is that i am sending them back on tues and telling them that this is BS either 2 new skis or a repaired ski.

 
Why didn't you send them both skis back in the first place? or maybe you did and they were stupid.

gotta love warranty work.

This is common practice for ski companies. I have seen this happen to people that send in their skis on their own, and by shops.

It sucks but thats basically what any ski company is gonna do anytime one ski is f'ed up and not the other.

 
yeah that really does suck, i would think that they would have to honor the waranty and replae em for ya

getting candides so lates isnt a good idea if you wanted to have warranty and shit

you will have more trouble having warranty return on an older model then if you bought the model from the same season.

well, getting warranty work in the end of the season is somewhat questionable, it is also the best way to get a new model ski (if the one you had was changed or discontinued).

I know a bunch of people that used to 'vice' the ski that didn't break so they could send both back to the company.

Also, if you are in good with a shop they can often give you a pair off the rack and get the company to give them a new pair.

Just remember, even though the individual customer is the reason the companies are so big, they also give the companies the biggest headaches, shops really can be your best allies.

i work at i shop and i sent them in through the shop.

Dont worry there going back on wednesday.

The reason they wont sell you candides is because they dont want to put out a ski that a rider doesnt ride for them anymore.

They have a few pairs still laying around though obviously.

dynastar warranties are fuckin bullshit. i hate them so bad. my edge broke in the pipe and they weree trying to tell me i did them on rails.I DIDNT HIT ANY FUCKIN RAILS IN THE BEGIING OF THE SEASON!!!!!YOU FUCKERS
