Dying Wisdoms?

Alright so i have a pair of oakley wisdoms that i dont really care bout that much anymore soo i kinda want to dye em. Any tips or suggesstions?
 
Searchbar for RIT dye or something like that. I've never done it but theres a few videos on how to. I gave my friend these wisdoms that i got for free that were pink but faded to white and he tried to dye them bright green (back when that was super cool) and they looked like half poop, half mtn dew. so watch out when you're picking your color
 
what color are they? I dont have any experiance with doing it so I couldnt tell you how to make a stripe but if the frame is a dark color you cant get it to look white. It would probably have to be a white frame to begin with.
 
Ya you're probably only gunna be able to make them darker. I'm not sure if wisdoms are dyed all the way thru but maybe you could try lightly sanding them first? I know some goggles have a white base and theyre just kinda painted.
 
Yeah you can only dye them a darker color, so you could do like dark blue fade to black or something.
