Dying sneakers.

Alright, So I just bought a pair of Nikes that are white and neon green. They are sick shoes but a little over the top with the colors.What is the best way to go about dying the white to grey or something so the shoes are a little less obnoxious?

or get a sharpie paint marker from an art storei did a project in art and i bought cheap nikes from winners and got sharpie paint markers( sharpie oil based markers are the real name) and my shoes look so pimp and the color doesnt rub off and shit and i actually wear them and they look legit

i wouldnt spray paint them. Me and a friend did that, and half the paint had chipped off by the end of the week. I think you can airbrush them or something. I'll check with my friend but I think thats what its called

Thanks, that actually helped a lot.To everybody else: I got them for cheap at a store that sells all the b-stocks and overstocks of other stores. I like them now, but I think they would look a lot better with a little change up to the color scheme.
