Dying FKS

Just dyed my Full Tilts all black and I want my bindings to match (they're currently orange). I have them mostly disassembled, brakes, springs, heel and toe housings, etc. My question is whether or not I can just use the same dye I used on my boots or not? Also what should I cover the DIN view windows with so they don't get dyed. I guess if they do get covered I could just crank it up all the way.

This

Who cares if you have orange fucking bindings? Nobody

And their mostly metal so the dye won't work and will probably fuck your bindings with corrosion

Good luck with that. Now no shop will touch your bindings with a 10 ft pole. Any issues will not be covered and oh by the way who gives a shit about the color of your bindings.

Nice, you've come to the point of my social commentary. Who really cares what color your gear is. I've been away from this sight for a few years and the content of some of these threads is mind numbing.

Dying the bindings is a terrible idea. Things can only go wrong. Cranking the DINs up all the way is also a terrible idea - unless you really hate skiing, and would rather spend your season in a wheelchair. Just don't do it!

I came here thinking that, "What? ... How did you end up killing off an FKS... Muy curioso..."

Then I realized you wanted to dye it. Dumb idea.

Please RIP dumb idea.
