so this might be a really stupid question idk? Do blu ray disks still work inside a regular DVD player but just with less quality or do they not work at all in them? lol
nah, it doesn't. Because Blue-ray means the rivits where you store video are so much smaller than DVD rivits, that they have to use an actual BLUE laser to cut them in. SO your DVD player can't handle it.
