DVD to ipod

How can i put dvds on my ipod what do i use to rip them ive tried dvd decrypetr butit doesnt seem to work

look up videora ipod converter... there was a thead that explained how to do this but it doesnt exist anymore which is wierd.

go to imtoo.com and download the MP4 Converter and the IPOD to DVD Converter

if you're on a mac use handbrake lite or isquint (www.isquint.org) it's pretty damn good and easy

yeah videora worked great for me when my screen wasn't all cracked up that's what i used to get pyb on my ipod

does it usually take 24 hours to get a whole movie done??

NAh mebbe a couple hours to rip it with DVD decrypter and then about an hour to convert it. I just run it overnite and its done in the morning

ya im doing shanghi six and it is taking like 2 hours for each transcode

wait did u rip it as 1 big file or did DVD decrypter break it up into little 1 gb files? cuz u gotta rip it a 1 or its a pain in the ass and all u need to convert then is the super big VOB file it schould be several gigabytes

i didnt do anything i just put the dvd in and then pushed one click transcode and found the file and highlighted all of the little subsections there are like 28 of them

U rip it using DVD Decrypter (just google it) then you use videora to conver the VOB file on videoras website theres instructions on how to use it

ya i got all of that done now how do i get it onto my itunes or how do i get it onto my ipod

if you're using a mac you can use Handbrake. it rips the movie to an MP4 or AVI. i dont know if there's a version for windows

^ uhh drag and drop?... if its in the correct format it will just drop into your "Videos" section of itunes. then just drop in your ipod.

Only rip the main file, unless you want the special features, then by all means, go for it.
