DVD TO ipod video?!

I know it can be done... so what programs are out there to convert dvds to a foramt that will work on Ipod video?

also i have lime wire and tried to download some and just got viruses

umm i no this seems pointless but yes there is one my friend has it and i dont know the name he said sumtin bout jsut typing dvd to i-pod video in google it had a wierd name

o yaa heyy man with videora, if your converting any movies longer than like 20-30 minutes there is a problem with it where it screws up the audio/video sync...really badly. there is a tmep fix for this by adding a flag to custom FFMPEG Flags under setup --> Profiles. type in "-async 1" and hit apply for the profile you want to use to convert the video.

use DVD decrypter to rip the dvd.

then use psp video 9 to convert it to mp4.

then use itunes to put it on your ipod.

really easy.

i would recommend breaking the movies up into four pieces. if you leave it all as one big ass file it burns out the battery on your ipod in about 2 hours, while breaking it down dosnt.

and dont worry about the titles or credits, dvd decryter takes all that shit out for you.

download a dvd dycrypter it will let u burn it im pretty sure cause thats what my friend did

yeah i figured it out... but i did shanghai 6 and the auido is the rider comentary?... how'd that happen?

you ripped the wrong audio track.

when selecting which file you want to rip from the big list of files in dvd deccrypter, always select the largest file.

then you will have just audio and video

^tehcnically wouldnt the rider comentary=the music be the largest audio file becuase it it has double the audio

not neccesarily. just cause you have two sounds going at once, doesnt mean the file will be bigger...its just a wave thats different
